I've always switched between presets in the same rig (performance mode) without stepping twice in the same preset. The other day though I accidentaly stepped twice in the same preset and the light turned from the lower one to the upper one (or viceversa). I couldn't figure out what that did, if anyone could tell me I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
Stepping twice on presets does something I don't know

It ist the way to activate morphing but of course only if morphing is set. If not then nothing happens..

You can return to the previous behaviour of the switch which called up the rig in the state it was saved in by changing the rig button morph state on the User Settings page of the system menu.

Oh, wait, that is cool:
Yet, I did not get my head around morphing and how I can use it. My question:
Lets say, I have a normal state with low volume, very little reverb and delay, and a "morph state" with more volume, reverb and delay.
Additionally, I have a stomp box, which - lets say - activate a booster and can be activatetd by the remote as well. What happens, if I try to reach the morph state, with stomp box on?

You can only morph continuous parameters. The on/off state of an effect is not a continuous parameter. You can morph the mix parameter of a stomp to achieve a similar result.
