So I just recently got the Kemper remote and the cable it came with seems like it's permanently wrapped liked that. As in when I unravel it, it doesn't like to stay. Is there a quick and easy way to 'train' it to stay flat on the ground?
Remote Cable

You can use any ethernet cable as an alternative.
I use velcro to keep the original Kemper remote cable tidy on stage.

I do not like the cable from kemper at all I will not lay flat..

This.
I just got the remote and am extremely disappointed in the cable. I know cat 5 or 6 cable (which I'm assuming is what this is) is usually industrial cable for ethernet...but since this has a different application itd be nice to have a better cable. I'm hoping my Pedal Snake has the ability to do ethernet. (I dont think it does). -
You,re absolutely right - the cable is disgusting!!!
I use a Cordial CAT 5 CSE5NN5 - its much more flexible - you just have to unmount the cover of one plug because unfortunately the back of the KPA has no Neutrik RJ 45 Connection, only ordinary network staff.

They also have versions that fit without the need to unmount anything. E.g.: https://www.thomann.de/de/cordial_cse10nh5.htm

Gotta agree with you guys.
This cable sucks... -
Perhap the Kemper guys will see the many posts here complaining and do something about it.

I have to admit that i like the cable. Of course, the stiffness is a bit annoying, but i would rather have a cable that lasts a while then having to replace it every few gigs. Reliability comes before comfort in this case and in my opinion.
On stage i usually tape all cables to the ground, so it doesn´t really matter how stiff the cable is.For rehearsals i switched for a much shorter (1.5m) network cable. The cable is cheaper to replace in case of any defect and i don´t have unneccessary cable lying around. Even for small stages, where the KPA sits next to me i am thinking about getting a 3m cable to have various lenghts covered.

As long as you use Gaffer tape you won't get any of the sticky residue left on the cable.
-
You're absolutely right Marcus - I did'nt look careful enough - as usual
Thanx for it!!!!!
So this cable is the best solution for me: thomann.de/de/cordial_cse10nh5.htm in 5m version!

I wish Kemper had put a Nuetric end on the KPA ... I haven't used the factory cable ever since the unprotected lock broke on it

This would be great, maybe for future hardware revisions it would help a lot...

I replaced my remote cable with this. Beefy. Works great.

Looks interesting. (rhetorical but still interested) Would this cable being un-shielded effect performance?

Nice solution if you need no longer cable!.
Do you know the size of the cores.

According to their website, "Designed specifically fortouring, staging, professional sound, night clubs, concert venues, studios, and more. They are built for ease of use and built to last!".

@carsnguitars58 - cables are "100% shielded". Sheesh. I'm starting to look like I'm a Rep for these GLS guys. I'm not.

Thanks for the answer.
My question was the thickness of cores (AWG) - this I did not find in the spec.
The cable thickness do not give an information for that because it mainly depend on isiolation and shield.
According Kemper Manual a AWG24 cable should not extend 7,5 m .
With thinner cable the maximal cable lenght decrease.
How did you make a quick scan that it looks like to be able for up to 200 feet? -
