Here in Italy the go for €800/1000. Sometimes you can find great deals (now one is going for €650, I wish I had the money and space for her).
The newer versions cost about 2000.
Btw, they play like butter.
There was one for sale locally (Isle of Wight UK,) that started at £1100, was reduced to £1000 but never sold.

Hhmm, this one goes for 1100,-...that compared to what u saying little to much maybe.
But almost cant believe these guitars for these prices tbh...thats great value for money imo.

Exactly. I had one of them that went for 750 €
And that was a 90's r4? All single coil?
Yep.
My old teacher (pro touring musician) had one.
Here in Italy it is easier to find H-S-S versions.

Yes it was a 90's, but HSS; I think the name of the SSS was R3

Well, they guy selling THIS BEAUTY lives near Verona, so you can take your girl/wife/partner there, promising a romantic travel to see Juliet's house, and then grab the axe
This is an rh 4...still...i would grab this one on the spot...cant believe these guitars go for these prices...and this guitar is on the market for a couple of weeks for that pricing...im confused
They are not very popular (goes the same for Patrick Eggle's) so they don't go very fast.
The fact that the seller is not willing to ship reduces the opportunity of selling it.
Thnx guys, Your input gave me some "ammunition" to negociate with the seller.
Got me a blade R4...and love it! Cant believe how these guitars grew out of fashion, very well balanced, classic stratsound, the preamp makes it a very versatile session guitar with a lot of options.
So, how much did you pay for it?
Still payed too much, 1000, but had to have that guitar.
I made a sound sample using Bert meulendijks profile of soldano amp.
Rhythm parts:
on Eb its neck pick up with pre amp boosting low and mid
On Ab part its neck en mid pick up
Solo parts:
Clean is neck pick up with guitar preamp boosting mids
Gain solo is dist 2 with neck pick up in passive mode on the Eb part
On Ab its bridge with preamp of guitar boosting mids.
