Problems updating operating software to the latest version

Hi folks,

I'm currently in version 2.7 and wanted to upgrade to the latest version and the Kemper is not recognising the 3.2 file. I thought that maybe I have to go first to version 3.0, but this version is also not been recognised by my Kemper. Any advice you can provide me will be greatly appreciated.

Trust me on this, mate:

1) Re-download the update in case it was somehow corrupted by the Kemper.
2) Place the kaos.bin file onto the USB stick, but not inside any folder.
3) Insert the stick and switch the unit on into Browse Mode whilst holding down both Page buttons.

The display will read, "Booting and Burning from USB device".

This isn't the usual way of doing the update, but given the failures you've encountered, I can't see how you could be any worse off by "forcing" the process. I'd say your chances of success are somewhere around the 100% mark.

thank you! Needed this info to force latest firmware 3.1.3 for some reason. Never had a problem before.
