I LOVE the sound of the patch that is used when the Kemper is still turning on. I've tried to find out what the patch is, but i cannot find it. It's perfect for what I'm working on currently.
Can anybody help?!
Thanks!

I´m not totally sure, but i think that it´s the rig called "defaultRig.kipr" which can be found if you extract the contents of a backup file on your PC.
Thanks so much! I'll check that out right now
Can we changed that rig? Can it have effects. I thought it was an unprocessed signal through the device. I didn't personally care for it because it is lacking reverb.
Just given that a go. Extracted the profile then re-imported it. It get no sound out of it I'm afraid.

AFAIK this cannot be changed.
And renaming one of your favourite rigs to default is problematic as renaming on the PC is not supported.
haha funny, just yesterday I was asking that myself and I agree it's a great profile. Now we just need to know how we can use it properly.
Renaming the file I believe is meaningless to the Profiler. Hence a lot of rigs are called something like 2013-01-01 324234 - RIG NAME.kipr, but in the Profiler, you only see RIG NAME. There is a Tag Editor available. You'd have to change that data for the system to recognize it, but as mentioned above, the Profiler probably isn't going to load effects. You may be able to change the amp/cab though.
Mabe anybody could try replacing the default rig inside the backup file and restore the backup?
Why the hassle? If some users (including me) like the profile's distortion structure, it should be no problem for the KPA people to make it available as a profile. ... I seem to remember that this has been discussed before - but I might be wrong.
