Channel 1 is already set, of course! No communication between Midi device and Kemper.
I'm having the same issue. anyone using this cheap midi-usb cable and have it working?
https://shopee.sg/USB-to-2-MIDI-…ASABEgK18vD_BwEi'm thinking it might be this cheap cable. If so, does anyone have a working midi-usb cable to suggest? thanks!

Greetings from Singapore! Great gig man!

Thank you all for your kind advise! I'll definitely try all the above methods!

I've had the KPA for awhile now and i love it to bits!
However, i always have this problem. My KPA is connected to a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and out to HM50s. Keeping Master Volume on the KPA constant and all volumes on the Focusrite constant, using the same guitar, there always seems to be a huge difference in volume between distorted and clean profiles (well, most clean profiles).
Raising the Clean Sense or the rig Volume or the cab Volume of a clean profile (to match that of a separate distorted) profile would usually clip the signal (shown on the Focusrite 2i2).
Do you guys experience this? Any tips to match volumes of Clean and Distorted profiles?

I'm hating the K10 with my KPA also, connected a pair of VERY CHEAP monitors and it's so much better... the K10 seems to have lots of high end but in fact it doesn't, what it really has is an extremely annoying excess of high mids in the 3k-4k range that simply drives me nuts. That and too much lows as well. Can't wait to get my hands on an Alto TS110A, I've been waiting for one to get through the highly corrupt and incompetent customs of Brazil for over 3 months now
I have the KPA Monitor Out to -> AltoTS110A. Brilliant. Main Left/Right Out -> Focusrite -> HM50.

Thanks alot CK!
(How will I get through at work tomorrow? )Do you know something we don't?

No, first you should INCREASE Clean Sens so the Input is not yet clipping. At this point distorted profiles shouldn't be siginficantly louder anymore.
After that, you can do some fine tuning: Either back off Clean sense again a bit (if clean is too loud now compared with distorted profiles) or lower the amp or cab profiles of specific distorted profiles (if they're still too loud compared to clean). This is in relation to the SAME profile right? To adjust Clean Sense so that when the gain is at 0, it matches the volume of the distorted sound (default distorted profile)
I think we are referring to different Clean and Distorted. Some Clean profiles are louder and some are too soft, it's hard to raise the volume to match other distorted profiles without experiencing clipping. I guess this is just the way the profiles are profiled?

How do you guys adjust Clean and Distorted profiles without them clipping?
Both having the same master volume, I find some clean profiles clip real easy. Like the Morgan20 (my favourite clean profile by far) clips real easy and i can't reach a similar volume to a distorted profile without it clipping first.I find myself having to constantly adjust the volume on my focurite2i2 to compensate for the volume difference when hearing through monitors between profiles.
Which volumes do you guys adjust, cab volume, profile volume, master volume? Which is most effective to keep volumes nominal?

This is pretty rampant. Is there something we could do to prevent it from happening? Is there an overcurrent to the the LEDs, blowing them out or something?

I had the same problems with my XLR outputs. Please contact support. It is a hardware problem.

Can i kindly request for Lamb of God and Periphery tones if at all possible? Thanks!

Enjoyed the profiles also! Great work!
My friend, the distorted profile is simply amazing! It's one of the clearest profiles of the site, congratulations
Thank you both for your kind comments! I'll work on getting the gain tones on different settings. Yes i prefer distortion sounding clear and distinct rather than saturated.

This is a 'feature' of high gain amps, i get it with my Krank. And after i've profiled it, it's there as well. I can also replicate it with other high gain profiles.
I wonder if it's the pickup though.
