Being able to have different configs (snapshots) of a certain profile is great, but it would be even better if we could rename the profiles in just the snapshot area. Just my opinion.
Unless I am missing something and we can already do that

+1
By the way it's great to be able to affect the quick button to browse the snapshot repository.
And it's not great because you can't put a snapshot in your favorites.
As a work around, just save the snapshot as a "real" rig? I have different pups in each of my guitars, so I've saved tweaked snapshots for specific axes.
I was just saving every time for a new part under the rigs category, which ultimately got very cluttered with files to be maintained. Snapshots can potentially be perfect in this regard, all we need now is to be able to decipher from all the other snapshots. Perfect for studio recall-ability
Agreed. I don't want to clutter up my Browser with every variation of a rig I use in a session, but that's what I have to do because there's no way to distinguish Snapshots. The retitling is how I know what session I used that rig variation on.
Try this: Load Snapshot. If you tweaked it and want a new Snapshot but no new Rig in Browse Pool: Press RIG Button => EDIT TAGS => Edit Rig Name => Done => Exit => Exit => Store Snapshot => New renamed Snapshot, no new Rig in Browse pool. Does this help?
Thanks, that did help!
That method still leaves the Snapshot with the original rig name- seems like the process could be streamlined a little bit. That being said, I absolutely appreciate your suggestion, that will work for now!

Would seem to be a sensible thing to be able to.
