Red Sound RS-LG12 passive Cabinet/Mission Gemini P1 - can you share your experience - what can I expect?

  • Hello,

I switched from my unpowered Kemper to the powered version in February, cause I couldn't get along with my Yamaha DXR 10, when playing live - for what reason ever (I know, that a lot of eople are very happy with it). I like the sound of the Kemper with my 112-cabinet now, but feel the limitation of having the cab-function off.

Red Sound RS-LG12 passive Cabinet and the Mission Gemini P1 are available here in Europe at two of the big sellers.
I am leaning towards the Red Sound cabinets, cause they are only 12 kg, while the Mission is 22 kg. Maybe I should mention, that I play from clean to midgain mostly, higher gain for leads, but no metal.

Could omeone compare those two or would share share his experience, especially withe the Red Sound LG12 cabinet (there are two versions - "normal" or "Rack")

Any input would be apreciated, alternatives too.
