Happened to get a ticket to this show last night... nothing but Kempers on that stage I had no idea Killswitch had started using them... and they sounded just as good as every other time I've seen them with the Framus' etc. It was fun telling everyone annoyingly... "I have the same amp"

Yup! They've been using them for a couple/few years now... low key ... Not so low key these days haha -
What about Anthrax?
-
Cool!
I love a good professional live Kemper success story.

Yes Wolf, Anthrax as well, I believe it's been a couple years already for them...

So, Scott Ian uses a KPA live? Cool!!
Wow, I never thought he would break away from real amplifiers... -

Wow, I never thought he would break away from real amplifiers...As far as I know he still use EVH 5153 el34 version. When I saw them live last year he had 2 of them. But the other guy played Kemper!

ok, that makes sense… I didn’t think Scott would break easily… LOL

Scott had a deal with Randall before coming to the 5153 didn't he?
I met them at the Record vault in SF in 86 in the afternoon of that night's show on the 'Among the living' tour. I had just been converted to 'thrash' that era's term for 'metal'. The record signing must not have been advertised too well as there were only about 6 or 7 people there. We made small talk and they looked kind of surprised there were not more fans there in the west coast thrash HQ.My signed Among the living poster is hanging in a buddies studio.

I've seen them on the 'State Of Euphoria' Tour in Hamburg with Suicidal Tendencies as opener. This was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Incredible performance from both bands.
Anthrax lost me a bit at the time where Belladonna left the band. Maybe I should give them another chance.

There was some good stuff with John Bush-era Anthrax. Sound of White Noise was a masterpiece, albeit of a different strain of metal than what Anthrax previously put out. Belladonna's first record back with Anthrax is awesome in my book.
I have seen Suicidal a number of times and they are absolutely KILLER live.
