Need Help with Mission Gemini 2 and Kemper

    Hi,

    I just purchased a Kemper Toaster and Mission Gemini 2 and today was the first day I set it up and played.

    The tones sound digital to me, not believeable like a tube amp. If you can share some tips on setting up the Kemper for the Mission Gemini 2. I'd much appreciate it.

    I purchased 3 ft cord from mission that has two xlr ends which then merge into a stereo 1/4 inch tsr end. I read that was supposed to help create a much fuller stereo sound coming through the Gemini 2. I haven't made any changes in the settings of the Kemper yet. I just purchased some profiles and so far not to happy with the tones I'm getting. I typically like mid gain, and clean tones.

    Any suggestions for setting up the kemper and Gemini 2?

    I recently bought the same set up and was initially disappointed. But very happy now.

    On the back of the Gemini I turned the cab sim knob completely off.

    On the Kemper head hold in the input button. It showed around -60 for input. I rolled it to around -20. Just listen as you do it. Instant huge improvement.

    It sounds fantastic now.
