After talking with Kemper staff a while back about the Direct Output, I finally tried to run my ENGL Powerball 2 head via the direct output of the Kemper. I set the Direct Out to Git/Analog and then ran that to the front end of the ENGL. My Kemper was hooked to two JBL 8 inch studio monitors and the ENGL to 2 Randall cabs. It sounded pretty killer in the room! Kind of awesome that we have so many routing capabilities with the almighty Kemper. Love this thing! \m/ Just thought I would share.

I did the same with an 11 Rack and put a volume pedal in between to blend it in with my foot.

Care to elaborate on how you had this set up? Sounds intriguing

Run a cable from the back of your Kemper Line Out in to a volume pedal. Run the output of the pedal in to the front input of the amp.
Get your sounds and you can blend the 2nd amp in for a solos, big delays, mix clean and dirty and so on. -
I'm guessing by line out you mean the di output? Putting a volume pedal before the input of the 2nd amp would just affect the gain no? Wouldn't it best to put it in the fx loop of the 2nd amp?
Either way, it wouldn't be a blend in the truest sense, as when you bring in the second amp things would get a whole lot louder hehe. You'd need to be able to mix the two signals with overall volume being the same....
