I may try the every other pedal thing, Cause I keep hitting the wrong switch way too often. I may just go back to my FCB1010.....UGGGG.....What a waste
If you were to go back to your FCB1010, I would be interested in purchasing your Kemper Remote.

Thanks for your tips. I will use the method with the tape around a few knobs - simple and effective. Thank you all.
I have been using this brand of gaffers tape for years. These react to black light as well. Photos to follow.
Get one of those clip-on gooseneck lights. Then you'll be able to see everything clearly.
This! A small battery-powered clip-on light has been in my pedalboard case for ages. I don't often need it, but when the lighting situation calls for it, it's an extremely simple solution to an extremely simple problem.
@greenblob Do you often gig at florists?
@greenblob Do you often gig at florists?
Bwhaha.. Played a lot of weird places, but so far, no florist conventions
The flowers were lining the stage at this show, so we just started tossing them out to audience during the last song. Unexpectedly, it turned into an awesome flower war with the audience lobbing a lot of them back towards the stage. Our singer responded by running around and trying to throw them all back even faster while we jammed out - this went on for awhile The stage was a pretty mess after the show, so I had to get a photo. Good times.
I recommend the fluro tape if you play on dark stages. Makes hitting the right things much easier.
[Blocked Image: https://flic.kr/p/Veu2yq]I use Barefoot Buttons. The clear ones diffuse the light so they glow and are very visible.

Is it this you mentioned?

Yes but they are V1 buttons on the remote.

Here's a profile view in the light. I use the tallboys on Tuner, Bank Up and Down, and patch 5 which is usually my lead patch. All V1. Red for Tuner and Silver on Banks, Clear for the rest.
This is precisely the reason (or at least one of them...) why I was always wishing the Remote had 'scribble strips' or a mk2 Remote came out with them...!
I use Mooer pedal buttons (cheaper but perfectly effective alternative to the Barefoot option...) because I was also having issues hitting the appropriate Remote button when excitable / in riffing mode and opted for the clear version for the factor of being able to have the Remote LEDs remain visible to ensure instant acknowledgement of whether or not it was engaged
Excelsior.
The reviews on the other buttons weren't as good, and as a gigging/touring player, I wanted to be sure I had rock solid dependability. Plus, why buy the Rolls Royce of Modeling Amps and put cheap hubcaps on it when quality wheels are available?? You get what you pay for most of the time. Like, there are plenty of FREE rigs on the exchange, but some people are willing to pay for a very good commercial profile...

The Mooers were a disappointment. I cracked one by not stepping directly on the center. This was a gentle step at band practice. It flew off into the air and I got laughed at...
It was a good test, though and I think a tallboy for my lead patch is prob all i'm going to need.
