I suppose Kemper should design, in the future, a solid hard case for their products, for touring. Thats also an opportunity to make money ...... lol (The hard part was to design the Kemper after all , that was rocket science, but a hard case... LOL )
More alternatives to the Kemper Bag

Why should they do that? If you want that, please buy a Kemper Rack and a 19" Rack that fits your needs!

Why should they do that? ... Why? well to make more money if the demand is there and gives alternative to the Kemper bag as this post title says. . If I talk about myself only, I will buy the ''toaster'' not the rack. And I don't want a bag at all, but a hard case, like the Pelican case But if this cost 200$ I would prefer to buy it from Kemper at the same time that I buy my Kemper... So maybe it would be a good idea for Kemper to produce a case like that. Its a thing to consider for the future IMHO. Or those 200$ will go somewhere else LOL

The answer is simple: Kemper is not a casebuilder. There are a lot of companies out there that can make cases the way you like, even cheaper than if Kemper would build them. You know why? These casebuilders have the machines and know how how to make cases. Kemper not. It is not in their interest. If it would, they already had some case solutions for all Access synths. But they don't.
For instance Thomann has already two ready made cases for the Toaster (+ Remote).

My Kemper bag has been used regularly for over 2 years and really started to fall apart. I've got lots of DIY bandaids on mine. I added addtional velcro fo the side pockets as that tiny little strip does nothing to hold the pockets closed. I sewed the velro on with a stitching awl. I also added a bunch of tent repair patches to the interior from spots that had worn all the way through the inside nylon layer exposing the foam padding inside. The cheap top zipper that goes around the inside broke so I sealed that hole thing shut with silicone sealant and covered it with tenacious tape tent repair kit. The bottom zipper is worthless so I permanently closed that with a zip tie. The strap was replaced with a much more robust stretchy neoprene padded strap and more robust carabiner attachments insead of the brittle pot metal strap attachments. All in all it's a cheap bag but I'll just continue to slap bandaids on it because I haven't found anything else better that keeps the same form factor. It would be nice if a bag company like Maxpedition or something equivalent would come out with a heavy duty padded cordura bag for it.

Sercho, any chance to post some picks of the bag with toaster and remote inside it? I also got the original Kemper bag, but I wonder how to fit all things in it.
Thanks in advance,
MarkusJust got back from holidays, one of these days I'll take a couple pics of it.

I use this one and it carries the KPA, Remote + ExpPedal:
Gator Bass Drum Pedal Bag GP66
https://m.thomann.de/de/gator_bass_drum_pedal_bag_gp66.htmGot some cheap acoustic absorber material to separate the KPA and the Remote. The ExpPedal fits in the top-Part of the bag.
I am no permanent gigging Player but it fits for me. If you are touring you should use a more reliable Solution.
Just mind - it is your Kemper and it's a hard time when it is gone to get repaired ...Here are some pics.
I prefer one bag for Kemper, Remote & Pedal. If there is a better one or a fitting back pack let ne know... -

Good looking alternative

Here are the pics I took from my official bag. As you can read in many other threads, at first, everything will seem too tight, but in a week or two it loosens up enough for everything to fit perfectly.

I do the same but with double price as TomaHawk.
If I need a new one I will consider.
With the diagonal position of the belt it seems to be an easier transport on the shoulder. (Head through the belt and bag)
The Kemperbag you can only carry at one shoulder .
If you have not a body like Arnie it can happen that you loose the bag -
I ended up using one of these: http://www.stanley.it/products/detai…80%9D+con+Ruote

Hey!
Welcome Steven.
That one seems nice and sturdy, how does it feel?
And how much did it cost?
Grazie!

thank you!
it feels quite good! the sides are semi rigid but not padded, that's why I put some foam in front of the Kemper.
I paid 42 Euro for it on Amazon -

I think I'll keep this one on my list for when the official bag breaks, hehe.

This one looks OK for the price too :

Will this one hold both the remote and foot switch?
-
I don't own it, so I can't tell for sure, but if I count up the measurements of the KPA + Remote I think everything fits in there.
