I have made a panel in the back of my rack for all connections going in and out of my Kemper and i wanted a spare cable. So I hooked up with one of my mates who works with installation of IT systems for large companies.
We tried a "normal" 10m LAN-cable .... the remote powered up, but couldn´t connect to the Kemper.
Then we tried a 23AWG 15m cable - BOOM, shorter startup time and locks in perfectly. Have rehearsed with it for 4 hours once and there are two more rehearsals coming up before the next show - If I don't experience any glitches I'm gonna make it my number one cable and then keep the original as a spare.
