Direct Profiling an A Class Tube Amp

Hi guys,
in a recent Thread about an DC30 which is Kind of heavier Version of an AC30 started a rumor, that you wouldn't be able to direct Profile a Class A Amp.
I Hope Someone of you can bust that myth!

As the owner of that DC30 clone and the starter of that " rumour " / " thread " ......... so do I

I haven't tried it with 3.0.2 10951 ...... but there's nothing in its release notes that makes me think this latest FW would be any different ....... hopefully other AC30-style amp owners will try and succeed !

Actually class A can be profiled.

AC30 or clones can not, so far, but AC30 is actually not class A. It's class AB with no negative feedback, and uses EL84.

Just to be 100% sure.
You can create a DIRECT Profile of an Class A Tubeamp just not anything an AC30 Or AC30Clone or AC30-like power Tube layout?

At least some class A amps, yes. I have succesfully direct profiled a Vox AC4TV.

And yes, it seems nobody's been able to direct profile an AC30 yet.
