Anybody using the m-audio av30 studiophile monitors with their kemper? I'm conscious of volume in my new apartment with my usual Adam a7x possibly being too loud. I thought these little 3inch speakers might be suitable for practise and jamming? Any thoughts ?

I find the Tannoy Reveal 402 to sound much better if you're looking for a small and inexpensive speaker. The presonus Eris also sounds quite a bit nicer than the M-Audio in my opinion.

Cheers. Yeah just small and portable if my Adams are too loud. I'm not interested in mixing on them, just a nice small speaker to practise with without annoying the neighbours

You can always lower the volume that's being sent to the Adams! It'll then be as loud or as soft as another pair of monitors.
If you really need another pair, look into something like the Avantone Mixcubes, I think Behringer has a product that follows the same concept.

Hope I will never ever have to play electric guitar through this kind of toy speakers.
That being said, invest in a good set of headphones and you have the tone that makes you play for hours. -

Yeah, they're called "behritones". But beware, both of these "seek to recreate" the famous Auratone speakers that many people reference their mixes on because they have no bottom end and really make the mids stand out. They've earned the nickname "horrortones" for a reason... So I wouldn't suggest this route for your needs
