Does the Kemper Tuner send midi out?

  • Hi folks!
I just ordered a BJDevices TB5 for my kemper rig and judging from the manual for the pedal it can receive tuner info from AXE-FX and TC units, does the Kemper also send the tuner data via midi out so I can get the same function?
If not; will this be implemented any time soon?

I would really love to get rid of as many pedals as possible on my board, so being able to display the tuner on the TB5 would be awesome and I know it works on the UNO4 Kemper FCB1010's.

  • Joining in on the question.
I know the Uno4K does this, so it should be possible - we just need the documentation (and the MIDI fixed, but that's being worked on, i gather).

  • The answer is "yes", since it does it with the Uno4K.
But Bj devices must find a way to support it, and they should ask Kemper to give them the appropriate documentation in order to program their products.
What i mean is that every FC needs to be programmed in order to "read" the signals sent by the machine being controlled.

  • I forgot all about this thread.

Jimmyno is 100% right. If BJD is interested, have them contact Kemper (or Timo, specifically) for the MIDI dev documentation.
