I've just bought a kemper head (powered version)...
During the last years I've been using Mesa Boogie amplifiers - Triple Rectifier, Mark V, Traixis and Express 5:50. and I was happy with my sound. Btw, The triple rec is the only resistant from this gang
lately I was searching for new sounds, new textures… the dilemma arise.
Should I get a Kemper, Should I get an AXE, Should I go for a Helix. I’ve tried the helix, didn’t like it, the AXE it’s a rack and I don’t want to go back to the rack days... so, kemper it is!
I added 1x12 from suhr to allow me to play with a lighter setup, and to have a go to amp while I’m in the house.
I’m really happy with the initial results, lot’s of great sounds, great paring with suhr.
Can’t be happier.
