This is the very first time that we’ve ever sampled a Double Bass body.
We used 2 Vintage Neumann Microphones (U47FET & CMV 563/M7) and
Neve 1073 Mic Preamps and printed them on tape to capture the best image of this Vintage Old German Contrabass.
We also managed to capture that natural big round woody sound which only a Double Bass can produce.
All files are Kemper ready!
Works best with Fretless Basses and Acoustic Basses with Piezo. But also sounds huge and unique with bass guitars like Fender Jazz Bass etc. It can add a big woody body to any kind of Bass Source.

Any info on how these were created? ToneDexter or similar?
We used our special tape IR recording technic which we also use to create our Reverbs & Delays as well. After that we converted the Wav IR Files for Kemper.
All Acoustic guitars are recorded with vintage Neumann, Schoeps, AKG mics, API/Telefunken mic pres, Studer Console, and Studer A80 Tape Recorder!
We also included our famous Tape IR Recording Technic files which we’ve used our Studer A80 Tape Machine to create the acoustic guitar profiles for more mojo. (Digital ones are also included for more clarity)
All these profiles are Kemper ready. You just have to import them and use them as pure cabinet files. (Don’t forget to mute the Amplifier & Stomps)
It will make your Piezo Guitar sounds like you are recording/playing through vintage microphones, spaces and also will add the special characteristics of the specific guitar bodies to your sound.
