    That means, that is possible for me with a powered „toaster“ and a nonpowered kabinet to buy another unpowered kabinet and drive them thru MONITOR OUT and DIRECT OUT stereo? Than I certainly don‘t understand why there are modifications on the market to have two SPEAKER OUTS to achieve a stereo setup.

    like my title says: Is it possible to have a stereo setup with a powered head and one unpowered and one powered kabinet?

    I read the some articles about a stereo modification of an powered head which is only available in the US which isn‘t very cheap.

    I have a powered head and a unpowered kabinet and I ask me now if it‘s not possible to buy now a powered kabinet (a second kabinet is needed anyway) which I combine with the unpowered kabinet and build a stereo setup.

    In theory it should be possible, but before I buy a powered kabinet I want to be sure…

  • External looper with Kemper and Kemper box

    Hello,
    I need help with the following problem:

    I would like to use my Jamman Solo XT with the Kemper. So far this has been possible without KemperBox via the Loop Effect without any problems (Send in Jamman -> Out from Jamman in Aux and loopFX switched on at the last position).
    Now I have the KemperBox, which sounds great and is also able to play acoustic guitar or bass. Here the box then automatically switches to full range mode.
    But if, for example, I have recorded an acoustic guitar and then switch to an electric guitar preset and want to play the electric guitar over it, the Kemper selects a speaker simulation, which makes the electric guitar sound great. However, the sound of the instruments that have already been recorded also changes because they now also run via the speaker simulation.
    As a workaround, I went from the Kemper headphone output to the Jamman and the output from the Jamman XT to the Lux In of the Kemper. You can now control the volume via the AuxIn to the headphones.
    The problem now is that the Aux signal runs into the Kemper twice and phase messes (sounds thinner and more reverberant) occur, since the live signal is processed twice (at least that's how I understand it).

    Does anyone have a hint on how this can work?

    I would prefer a slightly more flexible looper within the Kemper (e.g. longer running times, several loops available and savable, playbacks/loops that could be accessed via USB or similar, etc.). Unfortunately this has not yet been implemented, although I think this should not be a problem.

    So: who has a solution?

  • Externer Looper (Jamman) und Kemper Box

    Hallo,

    für folgendes Problem bräuchte ich mal Hilfe:

    Ich würde gerne meinen Jamman Solo XT mit dem Kemper nutzen. Bisher ging dies ohne KemperBox über den Loop Effect ohne Probleme (Send in Jamman-> Out von Jamman in Aux und loopFX an letzter Stelle eingeschaltet).

    Nun habe ich die KemperBox, welche super klingt und auch in der Lage ist Akustikgitarre oder Bass wiederzugeben. Hier schaltet sich die Box dann automatisch in den FullRange Modus.

    Wenn ich aber nun z.B. eine Akustikgitarre aufgenommen habe und schalte dann auf ein E-GitarrenPreset und will E-Gitarre darüber spielen, wählt der Kemper eine Speaker-Simulation aus, worüber die E-Gitarre ja auch prima klingt. Allerdings verändert sich nun auch der Klang der schon aufgenommenen Instrumente, da diese nun auch über die SPeakersimulation laufen.

    Als workaround bin aus dem Kemper Kopfhörerausgang in den Jamman gegangen und den Ausgang vom Jamman XT in den Lux In des Kemper. Lautstärke kann man nun über AuxIn zu Headphone regeln.

    Problem ist aber nun, dass das AuxSIgnal quasi doppelt in den Kemper laufen und Phasenschweinereien (hört sich dünner und halliger an) auftreten, da ja das live gespielte Signal doppelt verarbeitet wird (so verstehe ich es zumindest).

    Hat jemand einen Tipp, wie das Funktionieren kann?

    Am liebsten wäre mir ja ein etwas flexiblerer Looper innerhalb des Kempers (z.B. längere Laufzeiten, mehrere Loops verfügbar und speicherbar, Playbacks/Loops, die über USB o.ä. abgerufen werden könnten etc.). Leider wurde dies bisher nicht umgesetzt, obgleich ich denke, dass dies kein Problem sein sollte.

    Also: Wer hat 'nen Tipp?

  • Looper Erweiterungen und Kleinigkeiten

    Hallo zusammen,

    ich wünsche mir erweiterte Möglichkeiten des Loopers:

    • Längere Aufnahmezeit (mind. 6 Minuten)
    • Speicherung der Aufnahmen im Kemper oder auf USB am Kemper
    • Löschen sofort Taste (z.B. durch Drücken von zwei Tastern gleichzeitig)
    • Möglichkeiten des Festlegens von Fade out/Fade in
    • Möglichkeit der Belegung und Auswahl von gespeicherten Loops über Up/Down- sowie den vier Tasten der oberen Reihe
    • Möglichkeit der Speicherung von vorgefertigten Loops/Playbacks auf den Tasten

    Kleinigkeiten:

    • Feedbacker a la Digitech Freqout
    • Im Performance Mode in der Hauptanzeige: Bank/Bankname/Presetname, also z.B. 3 Les Paul/Bonamassa oder 3 Les Paul/Jazz o.ä. Brächte zumindest mir mehr Übersichtlichkeit

    In weiterer Zukunft: Vielleicht einmal Streichersounds a la Metheny, welche langsam einfadend stehen bleiben bis zum nächsten Akkordwechsel. Also Reaktion nur auf mehr als 2 gespielte Töne (keine Ahnung, ob das technisch möglich ist)

    Ansonsten ist der Kemper schon ein ziemlich perfekt-geiles Teil!!! Vielen Dank für diese Entwicklung!
