So far, I have experienced the following issues:
1) It started with my performances feeling stiff and the response to my guitar "felt" sluggish. Not in a latency sense, but in a dynamic sense.
2) The EQs in my performances needed tweaking to get the same sounds. I typically run a studio EQ after the cabinet (before time based effects) and the dBs of various frequencies I highlight had to be changed to achieve the same "sounds". See this thread ( Its probably just me, BUT......... has the 8.2.2 OS changed the sound and feel of your Kemper? ).
3) At random times changes that I made through rig manager would not take place on the Kemper. Its like a random issue with USB communication.
4) When certain performances with ambient reverb settings are loaded they have the reverb sounding weak or almost non-existent. If I disable that reverb block and create a new one then I get some reverb, but it still doesn't sound as lush and stereophonic as before.
Maybe I need to revert to the previous Beta, as that OS was fantastic sounding.
Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

OK thanks for that. I've noticed the ambient reverb (Cirrus Reverb) on many of my performances sound weak to non existent now, whereas before they were lush and full and stereophonic. I don't think these issues are just my admittedly below average ears.
I've always set pure cab to zero, but maybe I should redo all ~150 of my performance library with it off.

Two things I noticed immediately after updating my Kemper from the Beta releases to the 8.2.2 OS. The first thing I noticed (and this is global across all my performances and rigs that I have tried) is a "stiffness" in the response to my guitar. I always run my "Clean Sens." and "Dist. Sens." at zero. Does Kemper change the baseline of this number? Is a zero setting in 8.2.2 the same "value" in the signal processing compared to the previous Betas? It feels like it isn't.
Secondly, I always tailor the EQ values for every rig at 130Hz, 1500Hz, 2000Hz, 3300Hz and use cuts below 55Hz and above 8300Hz. I can tailor the clarity, aggression, and punch for my performances by EQing at these frequencies. In 8.2.2, it seems that performances that I had setup 6 months ago need different dB's at these frequencies to sound right to me.
I know our ears change and that sometimes the differences are subtle. However, is anyone else hearing and feeling differences with 8.2.2 compared to the Beta releases?

My non-powered toaster has started doing the same thing. However, there was a new update today and maybe there was a fix for it included in the new OS. Soundman at my last gig told me my stereo signal was uneven. Noticed it in my in-ears too.

Even though the Kemper nails the feel and tone of amplifiers I find the drives to lack something in their feel and responsiveness. I use the soft shaper for adding small amounts of dirt to a rig. Sometimes when I wish to add more gain I use the green screamer. It certainly tightens up the tone, but it just doesn't feel like a tube screamer of any sort to my fingers.
It very well could be just me. Does anyone else notice this sort of thing in the Kemper ODs? What about the helix drives that people always seem to enjoy? Do they actually feel like analog drives?
Have Kemper mentioned anything about improvement of the ODs when they add new choices?

Thanks for the suggestions all. I'll check the clean sensitivity and my loop level. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Wish I could help you, but I gave up on using the FX Loop in my Kemper because of this issue. I don't know how others have been successful in placing drive pedals in the loop for use. I've heard its possible, but not with my Kemper. I never sent the unit in for service as I figured its "just the way it is" and I would be out the shipping costs for nothing. Sorry

If you use an expression pedal for volume control, check its calibration. I have to reset my volume pedal calibration on a regular basis with the latest software.

Thanks for the suggestion, man. I will give it a shot.
Thanks,

Hello. Wanted to let you guys know how great the Top Jimi Marshall JTM45 profiles are. The offset JTM45 profiles are a little warmer and vintage sounding and the non-offset has a relatively modern edge and bite to the tones. When I purchased the non-offset profiles I was a little disappointed because the tones were a little more aggressive sounding than I wanted. Top Jimi’s customer service was outstanding and he helped tremendously without me evening asking.
Can’t recommend his profiles enough.
Thanks,
Jamie
