I had conversations on this forum, a few days ago, where I got slated for saying 'I would not be getting a Stage until certain issues were dealt with'.
"Just my opinion", I was told, although I corrected, "No, just my personal feelings".
So here we are folks, my 'personal feelings' have good grounds.
If I read the words, "open a support ticket" about this item any more, I'll go more insane that I already am. Just 'sort' the damn thing out!

Well my maths, as awful as it is, has the anomaly at £73.62 GBP...
It seems, within the past ten minutes, their price is now £1423.00 GBP..... Odd

It's business fundamentals. Kemper don't sell them to their distributors at retail, so there's at least some room for discounting.
If Kemper undercuts their distributers discounted price what do you think happens to their distribution channel?
Fair comments.

Kemper's answer -
"Thank you very much for your e-mail.
It's not possible for us to inform you why they are selling the product cheaper.
We will not stipulate our prices. When someone wants to sell our goods cheaper it's his decision".
It's hardly an incentive to buy from the manufacturer, when someone else will sell it to you cheaper.
Just my opinion -
It just seems a bit odd mate, that you could buy a unit cheaper elsewhere, than the manufacturer. Especially this particular unit, which is hardly even available yet...
I don't think Kemper mentioning 'they're not one of their recognised dealers', really is a pertinent comment. How on earth they are undercutting them is!
-
No warranty if it’s not an authorized dealer. Caveat Emptor!!
Surely if you register your purchase, it's covered under Kemper's warranty regardless?
-
that dealer does not appear on the list of authorised dealers on our website.
Maybe not, but they are still undercutting Kemper's prices, or so it seems.

I have to say, I'm a bit confused; I own a Kemper unpowered rack and remote, which I am extremely happy with.
I've just been on the Kemper order page, and ordered a 'Stage' - for a spare live unit etc.
However, I am very concerned that another web site is supposedly offering me a better price than Kemper itself ( I have emailed Kemper and queried this?)
-
I must be a bit of a rarity on here. I bought my unpowered rack 18 months or so ago. I sat working it all out, editing everything for several days, until I got it 100% perfect for using live, or in a studio. Since then, I have NOT done any updates, as I look at it a bit like a real amp. You tweak it to suit, then basically just play.
I have never found an editor an essential item.

There's a few elements that hike prices up. The import duty for products from the USA imported to the UK, results in an exorbitant import tax by the UK government. I know that's not the USA's fault
Also as yer' man says,"
At least the Kemper operates on any voltage automatically so you can buy anywhere and br Ng it home as Jed suggested. With Mesa they fit a US transformer that can’t be converted to international voltages. So if you buy in the US you need to budget for replacing the transformer too. Now that’s protectionist!
-
Indeed, the USA often seems to adopt an insular attitude, where as Germany is a fine example of, "vorsprung durch technik".
