    thanks for the answer.
    O.k., will try the mid setting, too. Guess, I already have the limiter activated.
    My clean and distortion sense in the Kemper is also set to 0.

    The Marshall cab is at 16 Ohm and I use the bridged mode, it is definitely freaking loud at Volume 7 ;)

  • Fragen zur Palmer Macht 402

    Moin,

    mal ein paar Fragen an die Palmer Macht 402 Besitzer unter uns:
    -- welche Einstellung wählt ihr für den Input Level? Hi, Mid oder Low? Soweit ich weiß hat der Kemper ein ziemlich hohes Ausgangssignal, also habe ich in einem ersten Versuch Low gewählt. Allerdings fängt die Palmer bei einer Lautstärke über Stufe 7 stark an zu clippen, sobald ich das Volume vom Kemper auf über -10dB anhebe.
    -- benutzt ihr den Limiter Button? Mit gedrücktem Limiter kann ich das clippen verringern, ganz weg bekomme ich es aber nicht.

    Befeuert wird eine Marshall 4x12, ich bin auch sehr zufrieden mit der Palmer, habe aber das Gefühl dass ich mit den richtigen Einstellungen noch mehr rausholen kann.

  • Probleme mit Mission EP1 SPL

    O.k., auch das funktioniert bei mir.
    Bleibt aber trotzdem mein Problem: wenn ich das EP1 als Volume Pedal verwenden will, muss ich bei einem Wechsel auf ein anderes Rig ohne Wah das Pedal durchgetreten halten, damit ich die normale Lautstärke habe.
    Ich kann natürlich im Rig die Range von -4,9 auf 0 setzen, dann passt die Lautstärke wieder, aber dann könnte ich das Pedal nur als Boost verwenden, das benötige ich nicht. Meine Idee war, wenn ich auf das Pedal trete, geht die Lautstärke zurück.
    Wo ist mein Denkfehler?? :(

    Jep.
    Problem ist aber gelöst...ich habe die Wah Presets hier aus dem Forum geladen...ein Cry Baby Preset gewählt...und siehe da: das Problem ist erledigt :thumbup: Vermute, dass es etwas mit der Range zu tun hatte...

    Allerdings würde ich das Pedal gerne auch als Vol Pedal nutzen, das Problem ist aber: durch die Feder ist das Pedal natürlich immer in Heel Position. Sobald ich ein Rig ohne Wah wähle und das Pedal betätige, ist das Volume natürlich bei dem im Rig eingestellten Wert (habe 4,9 gewählt, da ich den Tuner über die Remote anwähle). Für die volle Lautstärke des Rigs müste ich jetzt den Fuss in der Toe Position lassen. Kann man das Verhalten irgendwie "umdrehen"? Also volle Lautstärke in Heel Position und und senken der Lautstärke in Richtung Toe Position???

    Den Switch benötige ich doch eigentlich gar nicht wenn ich für das Wah die Funktion Bypass@Stop oder Heel wähle

  • Probleme mit Mission EP1 SPL

    Hallo,

    nachdem ich nun die Remote habe, dachte ich mir ein Exp Pedal muss auch her, also ist es das EP 1 mit Rückholfeder und Schalter geworden.
    Nun bin ich allerdings ziemlich ratlos... ?(
    Ich habe das Pedal jetzt erstmal als reines Wah konfiguriert (also keine Pedal Links im System Menü, angeschlossen an Pedal 6 der Remote, im System Menü aktiviert und kalibriert). Das Wah sitzt in Stomp A, Pedal Mode im Rig ist Bypass@ Heel, funktioniert auch so weit. Allerdings ist in der Toe Position das Signal völlig unverzerrt und clean :/
    Ich habe schon im Rig Menü alle Einstellungen probiert (Location des Vol Pedals, obwohl es ja nicht aktiviert ist, Range).
    Verstehe das nicht. Pedal evt. defekt??

    Hi everyone,

    this is my very first Reaper project, just the Kemper into Reaper. Profiles are captured from my ENGL PB II.
    Hope the premastering is o.k., unfortunately I don't have any studio monitors so I had to master it over my headphones.
    Drums are played by Ernest Zacharias Drummer, aka EZDrummer ;)
    I'm afraid I can't hide my Maiden DNA :D it's Xmas time, so I thought let the elves do some dancing... :thumbup:

    Hi all,

    I have been an all tube amp guy since the beginning of my "musical carreer" ;) Have tried some digital stuff in the past and have always been big mouthed:" Nah, I'm not going to use this digital stuff, only my tube amps and my full stack will give you the real sound!"
    Some month ago my last band split up, unfortumately. A big point of discussion within the band was always the transportation of the equipment. We were lucky enough to have a small lorry van and two friends lugging around all our stuff, but it always "ate up" some of our fees.
    As I'm not really young anymore (to be honest 54 years young ;) ) and I'm much too lazy to carry around my whole equipment I decided:"Well, everything changes, so why don't you give it a try?"
    What can I say? After I have a read a lot in this forum and watched hours of YT videos, I bought a Kemper toaster two weeks ago.
    This little box is pure magic! Yesterday, I profiled my Engl PB II (nearly in bedroom level) and after refining the profile I could not hear any diference at all.
    I am extremely satisfied and have already sold nearly all my analog equipment. Guess, the only thing I will keep is my PB II, but I'm not planning to go back to a fullstack again.
    Really looking forward to crank up my DXR10 (thanks for all the advices I have read here) really loud when I have a rehearsal room again.
    Kemper rocks!!! :thumbup:
