Wow @grednas! That is an amazing inlay. My grandfather was a watchmaker. I could see having one of those. Very very cool!

The cable is sold by metre lengths, so I've ordered 1 metre, which should be enough. The Beauty of the George L cable setup, is that they're push/tighten fitting, no soldering required! So if the cable is too long, simply cut it to size!
Thanks! I found a 2 foot cable. A little less than a meter. I figured I'd cut it to size. I'm coming out of the back of a Line6 G90. Thanks much @NorthShaun!

My latest - Just picked up this '15 PRS Tremonti with Stoptail. Super excited. Sadly, it's sitting at home while I'm traveling. But, it gives me time to get to the guy who sets my guitars up.[Blocked Image: https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8549/28615085824_b6c4b84157_b.jpg]

How long did you make the cable? I might have to give this a go. Don't want too much more cable than I need hanging out in there.

Thanks for the info @Robman and @Nightwish2!

Hi All,
I will be traveling internationally with my Kemper Rack. I currently use a Furman PL-8 Power Conditioner but it won't run on 220v.
I've been looking at this Samson Powerbrite PB10 Pro from Thomann. What are you guys using in Europe as an alternative? Thanks for any input you guys may have.
I did just see this Furman M-10Lx E on the same site. Any opinions on which is the best option?

The most secure way is a Peli Case or similar. You will need some padding especially if you intend to check your Kemper in a plane. Check out the way how M Britt does it:

I am planning doing the same thing. I was worried about being able to lock it with TSA approved locks, moisture and shock. I just had Casesmith Customs make me this 5 rack case and a matching flat pedalboard for the remote and a Mission Expression Pedal. I will transport it all in a Nanuk 960 case. The rack holds a Furman Power Conditioner, Line6 G90 Wireless and the Kemper Rack.
There were several close options out there. Some were shock rated but not lockable and others were lockable but not shock rated. This is the cheapest and most versatile setup I could come up with. If I'm not traveling I can use the case to store stuff. All but the Nanuk case is sitting at home. I just need to get back to it to put it all together.

You should get plenty of amp in the room from the Friedman and Kemper together! Mine will actually knock my drummer, bass player, and other guitarist using his combo tube amp back a few feet if we wanted to get in a pissing contest. LoL!
That is really good to hear. I am excited. Thanks for posting.

Welcome. Can't wait to hear what you think when you really dig into it.

Welcome from another newbie.

Welcome to the club!
Wish I had the courage to ditch all my amps too...I was going to try to downsize a little anyway. I heard nothing but good from a few touring guitarists so I figured I'd try it. I'm pretty simple anyway. I run dry 99% of the time on the 5150 III Red Channel. I just roll off the guitar volume to clean it up. The Kemper will allow me to have that and some limited effects anywhere I go.

Welcome to the gang. Very nice PRS's from a big PRS fan
Thank you! They are my favorite. Hard not to buy more and more!!

I tried to delete it myself @Monkey_Man. No luck! HAHA!

Well, you've posted this twice, so I'll repeat my welcome:
Welcome, Fidel!
I admire the fact that you ditched both amps in order to make the switch.
I reckon your sacrifice will be handsomely rewarded, mate! <img src="https://www.kemper-amps.com/forum/wcf/images/smilies/w00t.png" alt="8o" />
Thanks Monkey_Man! I posted in the other area then realized this was the actual intro place. Feel free to delete the other if need be.
Thanks everyone else too! I am excited to venture down this road.

Hi everyone.
I just picked up a Kemper Rack and Remote. I also picked up aMission Expression Pedal and a Friedman ASM-12 FRFR. I really wanted that "amp in the room feel and hope that this will do it for me. I sold my 5150 III half-stack and a Mesa Boogie that I haven't used in years to make this switch. I am currently halfway around the world from all my new gear. So I am really looking forward to getting back and getting my hands on it.
I currently have two PRS guitars. I've got a '15 P245 that I travel with and a '96 Custom 22. The Custom 22 is my baby. It took me almost a year to save up for and order from PRS way back when I was younger.
I am working on putting together a travel rack unit. I am looking at a 5 space rack to house my Kemper, Line6 G90 Wireless and a Furman Power Conditioner. Hopefully this will let me have an unlimited rig anywhere anytime. It has been great reading through all the threads here for the last few months. So much great info and I look forward to getting to know everyone better.
