More old guy stuff:
The year is 1990. My ES355TDSV has trouble staying in tune—a common problem with those tuners. I walk into Chuck Levin’s and spend a lot of time playing their stock. I even buy a special edition strat and take it home. We don't get along and I take it
back. The salesman says that there’s a guy who used to work there who’s making really nice guitars and I would probably be happy with one. Of course, the guy is PRS. I’m not rich so he makes me one without the fancy top and birds, but it’s the one I still play. -
Let's see what I can do for the curve:
Started taking lessons in 1957.

When I was taking guitar lessons in the 1960's, my teacher had a pre-war L5 that he would sometimes let me play. I've never gotten that much pleasure from an instrument since.

Heard at first viewing of a baby:
The non-committal "He's as cute as he can be" and
"This is great--I don't even have to lie!"

I found that when I replaced my Allen & Heath ZED-10 analog mixer with an RME Fireface UFX +, Mike's profiles came alive. I'm playing a PRS through a pair of Atomic CLR NEO MkII's.

I was looking at the ADD or REMOVE PROGRAMS section of Windows 10 and noticed that there are two entries for Rig Manager. One is an older version and one is current. When I search, I find only one copy actually installed. Is it OK to delete the older reference or will this delete everything? Thanks!

Dig the theremin! Another part of the Moog story.

Omnisphere for guitar!

Compare the physical layout to the Juno-6 from 1982: http://www.vintagesynth.com/roland/juno6.php

The keys player should think twice before he glares. My Kronos takes 2 minutes to boot.

Another thought after more digging: Make sure "media.autoplay.enabled" is "true" after typing "about:config" in browser address bar.

Sorry, I'm not a programmer.

I've done some more investigating and the links that don't work in Firefox also don't work in Chrome and Edge so I guess all is well with this add-on.

I found a workaround. Installing MediaPlayerConnectivity add-on to Firefox enabled almost all links. I'm not browser savvy enough to know what's different about the links not enabled. I'm using Firefox in Windows 10. Windows Media Center is gone and Quicktime seems to be on its way out so if they are involved, there may need to be some changes to the web site in order for the links to be active without help.
