I've been really enjoying GLS profiles/packs. Sovtek is the one I've been using the longest and it always makes its way into one of my projects. Stacking different gainstages of tones yields huge/wide guitar tones as well. There's just a lot of versatility. Highly recommended!

Hey all, wanted to share my new album from my death metal project Sallow Moth. Heavily influenced by stuff like Dismember, Edge of Sanity, Atheist, Carcass.
https://sallowmoth.bandcamp.com/album/the-larval-hope
Exclusively using Kemper profiles on guitars. Quad-tracked. One pair is a Krank HM2 profile from SinMix and the other 2 were from Deadlight Studios. 1 from his Mesa '92 into Marshall Cab and the other track is a Marshall JWM 410 into Mesa cab. Love their profiles. Bass was a mix of clean DI, EQ-matched IR of Dismember's Like an Everflowing Stream Guitar tone, and SteelworksGrinder Darkglass B7K profile from Stymphalian. Drums were programmed with RoomSound and some custom snare samples blended in with automation during certain sections.
I appreciate anyone checking it out!

I'm really digging it. Just grabbed it now. It's incredibly full. I'm experimenting with turning the gain up and it remains full while still having a great amount of clarity and focus.

Nice!! I really dig your profiles so I'm eager to stay tuned and see how this mic fares for you.

Went into writing these songs for my project Cara Neir knowing I was going to quadtrack and I wanted to use 4 different tones for a wider, yet articulate rhythm. Two lighter gain for main L+R and the other L+R slightly more gain. Sovtek MA profile by GoldLionAudio on left, Sunn Beta Lead by HamerJo on right, and then another pass of left and right with JVM 1960 and Soldano Hot Rod 1960 (both Tonehammer). 1 dirty lead panned center of a Fender Rev profile (I forgot the name but it's on RigExchange)

And then a much more dynamically produced song with 4 different clean profiles used. An array from the Davoli and Guyatone profiles on http://forgotten-amps.weebly.com/vintage-amp-profiles.html (I love these profiles)

Drums are the new Kurt Ballou library by Room Sound.
Bass is a clean DI mixed with DarkGlass7K profiles by TheBlackStymphalian. -
Have any of you heard about this mic or have used one?
Sounds like a "game-changer" for guitar cab mic'ing.
http://www.tulmicrophones.com/G12.html
"The TUL G12 is a unique dynamic microphone in view of the fact that it has been specifically designed to work only as a guitar amplifier mic. It needs to be placed on the axis at the centre of the speaker cone, 2- 8cm (1-3 inches) or so away.
By using a dynamic feedback circuit, it eliminates the high frequency buzz most mics produce when used this way, delivering the natural sound of the guitar amplifier. This mic is often used live as well as in the studio and is currently being used by top producer Kevin Shirley and Joe Bonamassa.
It has a switch for 'classic' or 'bright' (more top end) and is available in two styles: retro and SM58-shape. "

Got the 5 profile deal and I must say that I was already impressed with Tonehammer profiles, having bought Dual Rec and 5150 during the summer when I first got my Kemper, but I'm even more impressed with the 5 packs I got. That Marshall JVM and the Peavey 6534 are special. I know it's been said before, but the 1960 cab is golden on all of these packs. Definitely my favorite cabinet I've played with in all of the profiles thus far.

Cheers! and Happy Birthday to your daughter. I'm definitely going to purchase at least one profile pack before the expiration.
Just contemplating on which amp to get at first. I really like that Kraken based on the sound clips. Would you say that's the best recommendation for articulation in high gain? I'm wanting something with those characteristics to have that covered in my tone arsenal.

In case it takes awhile to get uploaded on the exchange. -
Submitted 4 profiles to the Rig Exchange. Hopefully they'll be on there soon!
Signal chain is a little unorthodox, as it works for me, but I wanted to share for those who want to play around with them.
One is clean, just the head going through my Ear Candy cab. Mic'd with a Shure KSM313 (front side) ribbon going through an AEA RPQ500.
The other three profiles were pushed with an Abominable Electronics Throne Torcher pedal (HM-2 clone) but with LED footswitch and MIDS knob.
An example of the profiles (the distorted ones) in a mix. My solo death metal project Sallow Moth: http://sallowmoth.bandcamp.com
A rundown of the profiles:
Bell PM20 Throne Torcher HM2 LED -- this is the pedal all knobs dimed but with an LED footswitch engaged. Mic edge 3 in out.Supposedly this footswitch is a clipping distortion of russian diodes from a Klon circuit. It fattens/smooths the HM-2 sound and cleans it up in the highs.Bell PM20 Throne Torcher HM2 -- LED footswitch NOT engaged, all knobs dimed. So basically the classic HM-2 setting. Mic edge 3 in out.
Bell PM20 Throne Torcher HM2 C -- LED footswitch engaged, all knobs dimed but with the mic center on the speaker cone.
The mix is quad tracked with a DiPinto Galaxie IV guitar (single coils). Two main guitars were bridge pickup with Bell PM20 HM2 LED, third and fourth using the HM2 C profile but with bridge & neck pickup both engaged. Convoluted, but very specific and complementary setup.
Hopefully you guys can get good use out of these! Anyway, was my first shot at profiling as I just got a Kemper a few weeks ago.
