I don't care about that as much as I do the tones that I get from the profiles. I have purchased a few of the LivePlayRock profile packs. IMO, the tones from these do not seem to be profiles from the original amps. Most of his profiles seem to have very different sounds than the amp that is alleged to have been profiled. Just my opinion. But his Kiss profile pack used the same amp for every era of the band. Most of the profiles sounded nothing like the amp or the tones on the record.

Paul Gilbert has a guitar school. He even has you send him videos of your playing and then has video responses. The guy can play anything and is great at explaining things.

Thanks to you all. But I cannot sell this ESP tiger as it was custom made for me back in the early 90's. I will try the gain idea listed here. But I believe it was more than just profiles with high gain. I am also looking at adjusting the pickup height. Let's see what happens.

I get that. I have hundreds of profiles. On ALL my other guitars, I would say that 75% of the profiles sound decent or better. With this guitar, it was about 3 out of a few hundred profiles that sounded decent. I am going to look at the pickup pole spacing. If that doesn't work I am going to try another pickup and see what happens.

I have 4-5 guitars. They all sound excellent for most profiles. There are always some that don't sound that great, but it is a very few that sound bad.

EXCEPT: I have this one guitar that 99% of profiles sound horrible. It's an ESP sunburst tiger. So its a higher end guitar, and its heavy as hell. The pickup is a Seymour Duncan. Screamin Demon I believe. What options do I have to try and improve the tone? Most profiles sound muffled and muddy. I don't want to change settings if it affects my other profiles for my other guitars. Other that changing the pickup, what can I do?

When I use the Transpose, it sounds awesome. My only issue is the lag time. I have to keep a slight bit ahead of the beat to stay in time. very annoying

The 'transpose' stomp has too much lag (latency).

The TS cable is used if you want to stomp on the pedal to activate it. Sort of an on/off switch. The TRS cable is a must for using the pedal but can be the only cable needed if you plug it in slot 1.

I think as long as I am selling profiles that I purchased and no longer keep is fine. It's when you sell profiles and then still keep them for your own Kemper that I think it's wrong.

@tijlcarrein Hey where did you get your GCP Pro labels? I have seen a few but not those.

Guys I have searched a bit on this. I have seen some say that basic RCA cables are ok. And some say no. Most links to cables here were in the UK.

So do I need SPDIF cables or are the RCA ones ok (I prefer quality vs cost). And where do I get them in the USA?
