For a classic profile to sound really close to the real amp, i had to refine/discard them multiple times and often tweak the profile. At least for direct profiles this was more often a PITA than not. The results are fine but not easy to achieve.
The two direct 2.0 profiles i made so far are spot on, without tweaking. No weird GAIN or DEFINITION parameters. And they sound better than my old ones. I will definitely recreate all my profiles with profiling 2.0.

Thank you Jemjulio and tamagotchi666 . You are right, GENERIC GAIN ist the way to do it. This is common knowledge? I never used liquid profiles until now with profiling 2.0.

i am trying to morph the GAIN parameter of my new profiling 2.0 liquid profile and it does not take. I use a Rack + Remote in PERFORM Mode with a dedicated morph pedal. I press the morph pedal and it shows in RM, the slider goes to the right side. Then i change the GAIN parameter, but it does not show the morph trace in RM. When i use the moph pedal now, the GAIN parameter does not change.
My old Rigs (create prior to OS14) with morph work as expected thow.
What am i missing?

Edit: I can morph GENERIC GAIN, so this might be deliberate?
I just made my first 2.0 Profile and in principle it worked (and much better than PF Classic).
But i have a wierd behavior: During the profiling process only the left channel has a signal. The resulting profile itself is ok, but much too quiet (more than 12dB).
I never used my rack mk2 for profiling, all my profiles (>50) where made an my old toaster. I think the cabling is korrekt, the tube-preamp sounds fine in a distortion-loop. What am i missing?
The master out has both channels, only the SPDIF out is left channel only while profiling.

Not everybody has a use for the Fixed FX ( i dont).
I propose a feature to change the two Fixed FX Blocks to some full-featured effect blocks (just like A-D, X, MOD). This should be an option in the Rig-Menu.
Please consider this.
I would like to have a LPF and HPF that works on all the output-connections at the same time. In all my bass-profiles i have to sacrifice an effects-slot for the studio-eq.
This should work for all devices.

You (Kemper) decided which parameters are the relevant ones. But maybe those are not der relevant ones for me.
The configuration for the FX1/2 encoders schould be in the Rig Menü.
Which effects-parameters are changing using the FX1/2 encoders is not configurable (AFAIK). This makes the FX1/2 encoders for me quite useless.
I whish i could configure the 2 Parameters for FX1 and FX2 that the encoders manipulate.
With the advent of LVL2 and LVL3 upgrades for the KPP (and the extra fx slot) is it possible to drag a stage/Head Rig (edit: Performances not supported in KPP) from Rig manager into the KPP to create an equivalent version.
(Stomp and surface control limitations notwithstanding)
My KPP is on-loan to a friend currently, but if this is possible I might be keen to get it back for the upgrades and to use for a mini rig when just a few songs are required.

Thats one reason, why i upgraded my player to L3. With RM i successfully dragged rigs from the head to the player (2 windows). Changed the button configuration -> works like a charm.
I needed a shorter one and bought this:
With the new cable no sporadic reboots of the remote any more.
I only use performances and try to avoid using cut/paste in RigManager. The way i do it is: open a second RigManager windows, find the source rig and drag it to my performance slot in the original window. For me this works almost every time.
I use win11 thow!

Dear Kemper People,
I miss the possibility to assign the Effect-Buttons on the Remote using Rig-Manager.
At the moment, i have to press the button on the remote and the effekt-module-button on the profiler at the same time. My Remote ist not in the vicinity of the Profiler, so it is really inconvenient to modify these settings.
Please consider implementing this function.

I installed 4.0.2 on Thursday last and gigged it for the last 2-3 nights.....
Tonight however I set it up at gig and the One Performance I use for that band ( all clean with morphing on each slot ) had disappeared!
Anyone else had this issue?
Same for me, the one performance im using vanished with the upgrade to 4.0.2. Back to 3.3.0 solved the issue.

I tried 4.0.2 today and lost my performance in slot 6 (i use only this one performance). The restore of the last backup (made with 3.3.0) did not change anything.
Downgrading to 3.3.0 brought my performance back. Is this a known problem?
