Anyone able to fit a small wireless pedal (Like a Line 6 G50) and a small power strip mounted in the back of the Non-Powered Kemper Head?

BTW, I love your idea! Having everything already connected like that, and easily accessible from the front, does make setup a breeze. Well done!
Thanks, should also help me make profiles easier.....Always a pain to reach into the back of the rack to access stuff. Ya I didn't think about the Liquid Foot, I was just comparing it to the Kemper Remote....thats cool though.

Here is my recent update to my rig....Redco Audio patch panel I made. I have two Wireless G50's on a rack shelf (the two sets of antenna's are for them), and a Radial JDV DI for when I do acoustic and electric at the same time (otherwise I just run the acoustic into the kemper). Should be a lot easier to make profiles and to setup now. I used to, but now I'm just using the Helix as a MIDI Controller for the Kemper. I do want to use it more as an FX processor via S/PDIF, but there are some limitations in the Helix that I hope the team at Line 6 tackles in the near future. It can be done though, and it works great!
Man that is a mad expensive Midi controller lol. Love it though.....Helix for effects and Kemper amps would be awesome.

As you can see, I have not routed every single socket to the patch panel. These are the things I mainly need live/in studio.
And I have not chosen XLR/TRS combos, because I don't think I need it. Any time I can use XLR, I most likely willIf I were to use combos for the Return could have have both plugged into the Kemper and depending on which I use the kemper would know that one was plugged in? (make sense? Since I would have XLR and 1/4" plugged in but not both at the same time for the patch pannel).
-
No, soldered it myself. Yet, because I only needed short cables, I ordered patch cables, cut them in half and so I didn't have to solder the plugs only the sockets.
I ordered everything at the big T, if you know what I mean.
And the panel has 16 slots, not the usual 12. As you can see this is necessary, because of the way I installed the power conditionerWhat do you have plugged into your kemper for the patch bay? I want to get my stuff ordered this week. Trying to decide if I should do the direct input and do like a combo XLR/TS so I can have either on the back and what not. Just curious to see what I need.

I am 110% glad they don't produce a new unit. As soon as a new unit or form function is produced the price of the existing falls out the bottom. Look at all the other companies changing rather than just updating. The original Axe Fx near $2000.00 new.....changed now under $1000.00. The Kemper has maintained the original design and upgraded internal functionality as they are tested without changing the original form and the used value is still what I paid new over 2 years ago. I'll take that and the free upgrades everyday of the week with a smile.
I think if they made a floor board all in one kemper I would be happy with that, but at this rate the product is awesome. They just keep updating it and making it better. It can't get any better with amp profiling.

b and I will be content.
With what you can do with the delays, (similar to shimmer), it may sufice until the reverbs are finished. :D[/quote]
Let's hope so....I am holding off on buying an H9 till I can check this out.
-
Any mention when it will release?
-
Yes
YES!!!!!! lol......just give me Shimmer reverb and I will be content.
-
Man that is so awesome.....so if this delay sounds as good as I am thinking.....I will only need an H9 for reverbs then......Can you do multiple delays in different spots is the question now?
-
But I can see myself moving towards Strymon pedals for delay , and JHS morning Glory for drive .. rather than carrying the Axe around etc..
I am looking into a Eventide H9 for extra effects. I think the Reverbs and delays that the kemper does have a good, but I like to do more delay and Reverb. I also use MB packs....I will have to look into the Guytron amp pack...sounds cool. Right now I use Pack 1 (mainly, Divided by 13, Matchless (great), 3rd Power, and Fender black face. They are great.

I used Michael Britts profiles almost exclusively. I have Profile pack 2 (matchless is awesome).

Hello Together and Best Wishes for the new year.
I guess we were all a bit flashed and jealous of GBH14's set-up Very nice indeed. But here I present you my current rig. (more or less detail footage)
Currently consisting of the KPA Power Rack, Furman AC-210 and I/O-Panel. All mounted in a custom 5U Rackcase with just 30cm depth between the rack rails. Controlled with the KPA Remote.
In the future there will also be a wireless system (Line6 G90) and probably a TC G-Major 2.Did you get the patch panel from Redco? I am looking to getting a patch panel now. Did you make the cables yourself or order everything?
-
With all that high tech gear the thing that sticks out to me the most is a Telephone....Do we still use those? j/k! Nice setup.
-
I'm looking at the packs now. What pack contains the amps you use? or are they strung throughout the packs. I'm trying to decide which pack to start out with.
I'm planning on buying a guitar a year. My Christmas gift. I figure I give my employees one so I might as well get one too I bought a new Gibson J-45 this year. Next year it's a TAG!
I started out with pack 1. Its a great place to start like Michael said. It has a nice selection of the amps I was looking for. There are AC30 type amps and I honestly haven't even had the chance to get through them all. The patches are amazing. Barely had to change any of the settings.....or didn't change any of the settings. The Matchless amps are awesome.

Looking at getting a Kemper Profiler. Wondering if anyone knows of some of the best places that may have the best deal on one this Black Friday?
I just bought one and spent all the time trying to find the best deal. I don't think on black friday items like a Kemper will be on sale. My Sweetwater rep would do $2,250 shipped for the non-powered and remote package. The place I purchased it from (and a lot of my stuff is Proaudiostar.com). I spoke with the manager Mick and I was able to get one for $2,200 shipped. They had to special order it and it shipped out in 10 days and I received it two weeks after I ordered it.

2 wireless units.....curious - can you explain what you are doing here? And what power unit do you have that can rear mount behind the KPA?
Of course....So I play acoustic and electric. I have a Anderson Crowdster Plus 2, and I will play both at the same time from time to time. I have a wireless for acoustic and one for electric. I am using G50's and I have a Radial JDV for the acoustic DI, and go straight out of the Kemper for electric. The case is a SKB 4U Roto Rolling Case. The power conditioner mounted behind the Kemper is a Monster Power Pro 950 (Its light and not very deep). I am using a 1U pull out drawer - Odyssey ARPOT1. Everything works great and is very smooth. I wanted to mount the pull out shelf below the kemper in the front, but the Radial JDV was too tall so I had to rear rack it (which isn't too bad). I think I will now just have a patch pannel on the front for easy access to outputs, remote, and USB.
-
@Feinberger nice simple setup, I want to do something similar with my shallow rack. I have a 4U SKB shallow rack, was going to get the Furman M-8x2 super shallow power conditioner (and rear mount it like yours) and put a 1U shallow drawer in the bottom but I can't find a 1U shallow drawer, just full depth drawers. What brand is your drawer?
Odyssey ARPOT1 - I got it from B&H got the used model. Really just open box. It's 15" deep. Was tricky to get it from rear rack to front rack but fits. Best priced one I could find.
