Replying to all (and thank you):

Q:"Each slot needs its own specific setting"
Slot 1 has PC (to trigger UaFx pedal to switch to Preset 1) (see next Question)

Slot 2 has PC (to trigger UaFx pedal to switch to Preset 2) (see next Question)

    Q:"How are you setting midi?"

Plugging usb cable from Kemper Usb-A to UaFx pedal Usb-C

    Kemper System->Select Midi Port=Midi Out
Midi Device A -> Channel 2 (I have set one of my uafx pedal to channel 2)

Performance Slot 1 -> Slot Settings -> Midi Settings:
    Midi Device A = PrgChg
Midi Message =1 (preset PC 0 on the uafx pedal)

Performance Slot 2 -> Slot Settings -> Midi Settings:
    Midi Device A = PrgChg
Midi Message =2 (preset PC 1 on the uafx pedal)

Q:"Have you set the patch number on the Kemper"

    I did (see above)

Q:"and populated the PC list in to the UAFX? Right after the update it's empty"
Indeed. I added 2 presets, one in PC 0, the second one in PC 1.

    Hi,

I’m having issues trying to control Program Changes on my uafx amp pedals, connected to my toaster via the Kemper fx loop. My goal is to have one uafx preset in each of the five performance slots, and be able to switch amp sounds by simply switching slots with my Kemper remote.

I’m using a usb-A to usb-C cable, plugged respectively to the usb-A port on the toaster (midi host) to the usb-C port on one of my UaFx amp pedals (Ruby).

I’m in performance mode on the Kemper.
I set the midi to midi-out, and chose the desired device channel and program change number to control a preset change.

Nothing happens when I switch performance slots, not sure what I’m doing wrong.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers.

Hey Foxbilder, I have recreated the AndyTimmons Halo delay a while back, using the Halo pedal as reference.
I've copied 2 of the pedal presets that I liked the most, and added them to a single Kemper delay preset, using a morph to go from one setting to the other one.
It's using Tempo Sync, and the mix is quite high (80%), but you can either lower it to taste or control it with an expression pedal.
Have a listen, I'm playing Halo and Kemper delay in sequence, can you guess which one is which?

How do I use the Kemper as audio interface? Setting it as input and output device on windows does not work

I'm on Mac, but I'm sure you can find the how to here:

    Enjoy!!

Reviving this old thread, probably not a priority for the Kemper team, but would be a nice addition to be able to save loops into a usb drive plugged in the back of the Kemper and also maybe use the storage capacity of usb drives to have longer loops duration.

Planen Sie, ein Kemper-Video zu erstellen, in dem die USB-Midi-Funktionalität (mit Programmwechsel) ausführlich erklärt wird? Diese YouTube-Videos sind alle sehr gut erklärt und super nützlich. (google translate use, sorry for any mistake).

Sollazzon , I'd like to retrofit an old profile I did a few years back. I still have the gain and EQ values on a piece of paper. What's the exact procedure?

    The addendum says:
"enter the amp settings of the PROFILE and press all three Restore buttons once".

When I press the restore buttons, nothing happens.

    I'm a bit lost.

    EDIT:

I think I figured it out (maybe):

I pressed all three soft buttons (Restore Gain, Restore Amp Model, Restore EQ)
I then selected the desired amp model (Fan Twins Reverb Normal in my case)

I set the Gain Pot Ref to the value when profiled

I set the EQ settings to the value when profiled

I finally long pressed on "Burn"

I compared this rig to my original profile, the sound is identical, which is what I expected, and now when I increase the gain the profile reacts as a real Twin would do, which is good news I suppose.
My original profile would saturate way too much if I set the gain to max. The new Liquified profile is closer to the real Twin cranked up (still very clean).
