Ben, with all due respect, the Kemper has many adjustable parameters and I fail to see the comparison to a a basic tube amp, this may have been the initial design/ thought, but this unit has now evolved, it's is now a full amp/effects processor

Hm, I think I would disagree with you on the UI part (though not on the rest ). My first thought was: well, everyone who owns a Kemper would know exactly where to look for any parameter, because it's just the same as the hardware unit. Sure, you could optimize some parts (as you said) but as a starting point I think it would be fine.
I think the idea of an editor would be to make all of the deep editing functions easy to access / view, therefore I would think the screen would be layed out differently to the Kemper itself.
Most of the competition have a very well though out editor , if Kemper ever released software I would bet it would be as good if not better than everyone else. -
Given that there hasn’t even been a tease, much less a beta release, I don’t expect anything big from Kemper at this year’s show. I hope I’m wrong.
Yup, sadly, I think your right

If you own a Helix , you can purchase it for $99.00.

Welcome Klaus

Welcome Bobby, good thought.

I'm in, this would be a very useful feature.

Kemper no, users yes

Sorry mate, I'm not to clear on your request, do you mean have a preset rig volume that you can apply to perfmances ?
-
I drilled holes in my pedal board to accommodate the remote feet, it and velcro , stop it from moving anywhere .
-
If you mean the ability to Swop the amp, and leave all the other settings, like delays and stomps, then it's a plus one from me.
-
The new RM also allows you to go through the delay presets, very easy, very cool.

sorry, old eyes , his formula is infact correct , still , I've not had much joy changing pots, really doesn't seem to make much or any difference (could be old ears as well )

Unfortunately the relatively low resistance of the pickup will dominate the pot when measuring the total circuit. You will have to lift one wire, from either the pot or the switched in pickup to get a valid reading. For example, a 7K pickup and a 250K pot in parallel will read 6.8K, telling you more about the pickup than the pot. However, if you know already the DC resistance of the pickup accurately, you can solve for the pot value by 1/Rpot=1/Rtotal-1/Rpickup.
kinda correct , except thats only is true if the pot is in series with the pickup , on full volume it's in parallel , R1 +R2=Rt is a series equation , as you stated the best way, is to measure the pot with wires lifted , I've got t o say though , I've been down that path with little or no difference .

Thanks for the lnput Lads

Hey Guys, how are you finding the sound quality , any difference in tone, does it react the same way when you turn the guitar volume pot down?

Ive been having exactly the same thoughts, I think the G10 has the same latency as the U2 , plus, there will also be latency from the Kemper.
Having said that , no one has ever complained about it. -
I've not had this problem yet, but it seems the easiest way is to purchase an RJ45 repair clip. do a search, very easy to find.
I hope this helps -
I haven't read of any, other than problems With RM,
