Can you confirm that the Kemper ASIO driver is not loaded in Studio One?
I’ve been struggling with this issue for some time now—it has never worked on my PC, regardless of which DAW I use. I haven’t tried the latest OS version yet.

When using Stage Live, I use a separate performance for each song. Before a gig, I simply reorder the performances to match the setlist.
Does anyone have ideas on how to achieve a similar workflow on the Kemper Player?
EDIT: I just found information in the manual stating that any Performance can be imported into a Player bank in one go via drag-and-drop. For my needs, this means performances must be imported in the correct order for each gig, which is an acceptable solution.
F.R. If five player presets could be stored as a performance into Local Library, it would be perfect.

For me Kemper ASIO drivers works well in the Rig_Manager_3_8_6 beta, but from 3.8.8 beta ASIO doesn't work. I replaced ASIO dll file from v3.8.6 beta and now works great with v3.8.8 beta
I'm using Windows 11
I also tried that without success.

One specific scenario that frequently occurs on my system is the use of two profilers (Stage and Player). Sometimes both are connected simultaneously, but most of the time, only one is connected. Out of curiosity, I also tried loading the ASIO driver on the Stage, but the same issue persists.

Doesn't work for me either. So please keep us updated. Can you play regular windows sounds through the Kemper? I can't even get that to work.
Interesting ... it works here.

Strange issue. Another thing to try is to:
1. Run C:\Program Files\Kemper Amps\ASIO\ASIO Control Panel.exe (also try as admin ) and enter some numbers at input and output latecncy boxes like 1 or so.
2. Run Rig Manager installer as admin and reinstall it.
3. Run RM as admin and try to switch audio drver back and forth.
I'm running out of ideas for nowYeah, thanks for your help! This issue has definitely caught my attention, so I’ll probably spend some quality time trying to figure it out.
Happy NYEDIT: I’ve just installed the latest Kemper drivers and Rig Manager on my Windows 10 virtual machine (!) and the ASIO driver loads fine there. The VM hasn’t been updated for even longer than my main machine, so missing Windows updates are clearly not the cause of the issue.
Obviously, something on my main machine is "broken." Hopefully, I’ll be able to figure it out soon.

zabukowski so this leads to the coclusion that driver cannot be initialised. I can reproduce this if my KPA is turned off before i open the reaper. The inputs and outputs are empty.
Another thing to try is to use another USB port(avoiding USB hubs) and try to disconnect any other cables from the device like ethernet or MIDI.
By any chance are you running 32 bit version of the Windows or Reaper?Everything is 64-bit. Besides the USB connection, only the main out is connected. A few minutes ago, I tried changing the USB port (I was using a hub), but unfortunately, the issue remains the same. Funny thing is, everything else (Kemper, Rig Manager) is working perfectly, with no issues whatsoever.

zabukowski You can try to use ProcessExplorer to check if some software is using ASIO driver. https://learn.microsoft.com/pl-pl/sysinter…rocess-explorer
1. Download it and run procexp64.exe2. Click on Menu Find-> Find Handle or DLL and paste : KemperProfilerASIO.dll and click Search
As you casn see only reaper is using driver on my PC.0 matching items. Driver is obviously not loaded.

When this error is displayed? After openning the reaper or after opening some project in the reaper? Make sure that reaper is using 44100 sample rate as this driver only works with 44,1kHz sample rate.
When the driver is selected in Reaper, it shows empty inputs/outputs (as described by some users in this thread). Choosing to continue using this driver results in an error, which is also displayed when Reaper is started—this behavior is to be expected. With all tests, i double checked sample rate, which was 44.1 kHz.

zabukowski There are few tricks to make it running. 1. Go to sound devices in control pannel and make sure Kemper is not set as your default sound device. Use some other device as default.
Thx, i've checked, Kemper is never set as default sound device. Default is always Fireface UCX II.

Two things to check if you have not already done so:
1. You said "Audio mode ASIO" ... both modes are called Asio... one is Class Compliant, the other is Native. You need to select the Native Asio driver if not already done...
If still not working:
2. In windows file explorer, go to "local disk (C:), "program files", "Reaper (x64)... RIGHT click on reaper application. Click "Properties" , "Compatibility" ... In the lower half of the list shown, you will see a tick box for "Run this program as an administrator". If this box is checked, uncheck it. The driver should now run.
If still no joy, I would try uninstalling and reinstalling Rig Manager (which will reinstall the asio driver) or try a different Daw (free trial, any Daw) to confirm whether the driver or the Daw is the issue.
On my computer, there’s only one option called ASIO.
Frankly, I’ve already tried everything you suggested—and likely more—with no success.
Something is blocking the Kemper ASIO driver from loading; not a single DAW installed on my computer can load it. That said, Kemper and Rig Manager are working flawlessly otherwise.
The only thing I won’t try is installing the latest Windows updates. I’ve learned my lesson a few times—better to live without the Kemper ASIO driver than without a functioning system.

Are you sure you didn't update the Rig Manager to 3.8.8 (Beta)? Because when I did so, the exact same error occured every time I started REAPER. If not, try unplugging the PROFILER and restart your Computer AND your PROFILER, then plug it in again, wait 1 minute and try starting REAPER again.
I have the latest official Rig Manager 3.8.6, which includes the exact .dll file shared a few posts ago. I’ve tried all types and combinations of rebooting and restarting, but I keep experiencing the same behavior, no matter what I do.

The ASIO driver is not loading on Windows 10 (Rig Manager 3.8.6, the latest official Kemper drivers, audio mode ASIO, Player LVL II/III, Reaper). All other ASIO drivers are functioning normally.

GLXD16+ and Stage ... no issues here.

I dare to predict that profiling on the Player will be introduced in future updates, and it will be free
-
I’ll gladly pay 300 EUR for the 2/3 bundle. I had the rack unit for over 10 years and recently sold it (including the Remote) for a solid price. Now, I use the Stage as my main rig and the Player as my backup. However, I find myself using the Player much more than expected in all kinds of situations.
I must say, I spent quite a lot of time transferring, reorganizing and adapting presets/banks from the Stage to the Player due to the Player’s known limitations—limitations that are now a thing of the past.
With the upgraded Player, I’ll be able to simply copy and paste presets from the Stage to the Player. That’s HUGE, at least for me!
I don’t need profiling, and I imagine that feature will come in a separate upgrade anyway.
As others have mentioned in this thread, a fully upgraded Player is a beast. Having such a powerful device in such a compact form is unbelievable. In my opinion, it’s probably the best you can get on the market right now.
As a pro power user, this is a godsend for me. I trust Kemper, and they’ve never disappointed—more than 10 years of free upgrades! Luckily, I don’t mind spending a few hundred more to keep this story going...
Just my two cents.

Dual (2) engine
That would be next level for sure
Edit: Ah, i see now there's level 3 as well - that can't be anything else than Player upgrades.

There's no secret plan, but how I see it that the nano is even more limited than the player ...
If Kemper would launch extra features so it's limitations are "vanished", ppl would choose this over the nano.
Unlike the market where these stripped versions are intended for, a lot (me included) would rather see this as a standalone unit instead of a pedalboard addition. For me personally if they would include morphing I could gig with the player and it's 3 buttons.
less fx or choices from these effects are less important for me
Raf
I’m curious about the "secret plan" because, as I see it now, Nano is a disappointment. For me, the Kemper Player is already much better, and as you mentioned, with extra features unlocked, it would be light years ahead.

Now that the neural nano cortex is launched, the ideal moment to launch the updates :p
Wow, I am really trying to understand what the secret plan behind Nano Cortex is.
