I just downloaded the Pink Wall pack and the Comf Numb profiles inside it are amazing. I was jamming along to a Comf Numb backing track with my Strat (using headphones) for about half an hour. Wow!! Even with the bridge pickup it sounded full & glorious & it cut through very nicely. All the notes sounded really well balanced from open strings to the 21st fret. The effects are all there to give the full, soaring solo experience with (nearly) endless sustain. I'm hooked !!

I put it before the Kemper & I have the Kemper's input noise gate off all the time anyway, so no problems there. I often add some delay from the Kemper when I'm using the FreqOut. I have the FreqOut set so that when the pedal is on, feedback starts after I hold a note for about 1 second. Sometimes (depending on the note being played) feedback will stop sooner than I would like & abruptly, particularly if finger vibrato is not being applied. Therefore I usually apply lots of finger vibrato when I want to get feedback on a note. Also, the Kemper delay helps to extend it somewhat when the signal from the pedal cuts out.

Wow!! Thanks, Diogo for this latest batch of profiles. I can't keep up with you - I just barely finished running through your previous batch. Amazing!!

Yes. I haven't done it myself, but I seem to remember reading that you can disable the cab portion of a studio profile (if, for example, you want to connect the Kemper to a real guitar cab). The Kemper "calculates" (estimates) what the profile would sound like without the cab & sends that sound to the output.

Fender the twin amp are in the RE. I like the profile 4 (sm57).
Your Twin Amp profiles are really good, diogofis. They sounded absolutely superb when I was playing them through headphones. Thank you very much !!

Another happy freqout user here. It's amazing. Add some delay after it and it sounds like the whole room is "freaking out". I have to use some serious willpower to keep from using it on every solo.

Just got my Digitech Freqout pedal & was playing it through my Kemper along with a backing track & listening through headphones. Groovy beyond words. No doubt the best feedback pedal out there.

I turn the input noise gate off completely. I use the guitar volume knob a lot to get my tone (and volume) & I find a noise gate just gets in the way.
-
I just watched the video. That's easily the best feedback pedal I've ever heard. I'm gonna have to get one.

Thanks, paults. I didn't realize commercial profiles could not be mentioned here.

I get feedback easily at moderate levels with the low E-string by putting the headstock of my Strat in contact with the speaker grill of my DXR10. I usually control the feedback level by pulling the Strat away from the speaker. On one occasion I kept the headstock in contact with the speaker grill and let the feedback build up so that it was squealing for about 5 to 10 seconds and I started to smell burning electrical insulation. I quickly ended the feedback. I was a bit worried but I don't think it damaged the DXR10 - it still sounds the same. I guess Class D amps aren't built to take the kind of abuse that a tube amp could easily handle.

Wow!! I like it ... I spent about an hour playing the Heavy profile (with delay) over a backing track of "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" (I don't have any Boston BTs yet.) Man, I felt like I was back in the 80s!!
Next stop - look for an Amanda BT on the net. Thanks, Tom. This is serious fun!!

When jamming with my band I put my DXR10 behind me in the wedge position & very close to me so that most of the sound hits me at about waist level. To me this sounds very much like a regular combo amp standing upright behind me. I never liked pointing a combo amp at my head. I used to use 2 DXR10s in stereo (both in wedge position) but I now use 1 DXR10 because it takes up less room & sounds more focused. I turn the EQ setting on the DRX10 to "off".

I have the K702 and get plenty of volume from the KPA headphone out jack. Unless you want them insanely loud you shouldn't have a problem.

They sound really good with my Strat, cybermgk - very smooth. Thanks for all your efforts!
Did you use just the Unleash on the "gainy" ones?
-
Thanks cybermgk !! I will check them out pronto.

They're still on the Rig Exchange. Search for "cybermgk" on the RE.
