I've done the 'donut' to all of my combo amps and to my 4x12. 13" acoustic foam squares 1" thick from this place...

quick delivery and it works well to my ears, my Budda Superdrive 80 and Vox AC15HW1X sounded much better after the donut install. -
I've got the Iron Gear Dirty Torque and Blues Engine pair in two guitars and their Tesla Sharks in a LP Custom. They certainly sound decent enough to my ears, a bit clearer and brighter than most PAF alikes IMO. Coil splits on all of them and even the single coil sounds are good. For the price I think they're excellent.

Seems to work for me at gigs, probably because they're not really that far apart (distance between speakers) Would be funny just having a clean tone out of one side and a monster lead out of the other. Like playing Parisienne Wallways on a Jazz Chorus for half the audience... Ooof! Ignore me, it was a stupid idea.

In the real amp world I run two amps in stereo live, Vox on one side, Mesa on the other. Would it be possible to run two profiles at the same time? Or even split the signal of two profiles to the left and right outputs. Probably a ridiculous ask, or it already does this and I'm proving I haven't read the manual.

Maybe this would require too much in the way of processing power, no idea, but I suppose this is a wish list!

Woo! Been using Preview with the manager thing great fun! Lost a couple of hours last night just going through them one by one, and there's thousands of them!
I wonder if there's a huge difference between the bought profiles and the free ones? -

@GLiDE-BPM @Zapman cheers for that bud, I'll give it a shot this week see what happens I'm sure I can't break it.... We shall see!

Cheers guys, just updated to the latest firmware. Now if I could only work out how to add a load of the free amp profiles! Thought I'd get away with not burying my head in the manual, but I guess not with something like this

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I see I've started down a new and expensive GAS path, what with remotes, profiles, FRFR stuff, etc!

Hi there, I'm Andy from the UK. Just bought my KPA today, prior to this it was analogue and valves all the way.
Still can't bear to part with my little boxes of hot bottles, and bought the Kemper on a whim. Pleased so far with it so we'll see how my relationship progresses. It'll take me a good long while to wade through all of the info on here so be prepared for some stupid questions!all the best
