Hello. Tried to update my kemper rack to latest OS from rigmanager but got this mess 2 times. (see attatched pic)

I could update my PROFILER Head but not the rack. I will contact kemper about it if noone have a faster sollution what i can try first

I have both axe fxII and a kemper toaster...the axe sits in my studio and the toaster i easily carry from my home to my rehearsial place and to gigs. If i had to sell one of them i would sell my axe. Its so easy to go from places to places with my toaster and soundwise i cant say anyone is better. Im a lazy person and i dont have power to sit several hours to find the best sound for my axe. Maybe i could find a slightly better sound with the axe if i had that power. But anyway i would just see difference if i sit with my self, with no band or not recording any song. i dont know about the axe fxIII, but the mobilewise option is still much better with a toaster...this is only my opinion

I dont need to sell my axe fxII anyway so ill keep it. Its a fantastic piece of gear too

I have both an axe fxII and a kemper. I use my axe in the studio and the kemper for reharsal and gigs. Its very easy to sit in the studio and edit in the very nice editor fractal have. If they dident have this editor i would have sold it now. Its a nightmare for me to edit directly in that unit. The kemper is far easier to fix great sounds directly in the unit. But ofcourse i would like to have an editor for my kemper as well. Then maybe i will not even use my axe in the studio. So hopefully a kemper editor will come to us in the next weeks.

I got both. For me i get better tone with kpa when i use it for rehearsal. I use a matrix gt 1000 through a marshall 4x12 and i cant really get that fat thump through the axe as i can with the kpa. But when connectig the units for recording through the soundcard, both is very good and i can get great tones from both. Maybe i need to spend more time with the axe for reheasal but i have no power for that.

MistaGuitah...if you need to recover funds and and anyway buy hes axe fx III, i guess you need to sell both units...and then you dont have a dilemma

The kemper interface is very good and the unit is far easier to use than the Axe fx...for me at least. But i can imagine as a beginner coming home and use the kemper it takes a while to get to know the unit. There i Think this software can be very helpful. Most people today are very familiar with computers and software and will surely like the this software i guess

Okej...i guess i should try to start it up and play with it for a while then´and see...i must admit i never thought about this Before so maybe the fans has not been spinning for a while...

Today when i looked in the back of my matrix gt 1000fx 1he i recognize that the fans was not spinning. I dident dare do have it on so much more so i turned it off. Now i dont know if i can use it untlil someone can have a look at it. Shouldent the fans spin imideatly when you turn the amp on?

Tomorrow me and my band have a gig. We play 80:s metal covers mostely and i would like to know if someone know a profile similar to this sound. We will perform some accept songs and it would be fun to have this fat tone tomorrow when playing them
