This should do it by converting the midi clock output to a tap signal

I use an 18i6 and have done for a good few year. Great performance with everything, including the Kemper so I'd probably side with the live chat guys.

I did another test with Bonzo too and it tracked him ok too. I found that giving it a starter for 10 eg. Set the BPM roughly around the target to start of with made it a lot more accurate. I'll do some more tests this week to see how best to run it in a live setting.

only a quick test but it can keep up with Keith Moon apparently!

Going to run a test this evening with some isolated drum tracks as an input so I'll let you know how I get on!

I'm kind of hoping I can do it off a bass drum and snare. The snare mic should pick up the hats too but if an overhead is the solution, so be it. Might actually be nice for in ears as we rarely mic the kit.

I'm going to try it out later. My drummer's pretty robotic when it comes to timing but picking up small fluctuations and removing the need for a click would be amazing. It'll be interesting to see how much of the kit being mic'd makes it most effective and how much, if at all, other band "noise" throws it off.

Here it is in action....

Anyone using Beatseeker for Ableton with their backing tracks in a live situation? Looked at backing tracks a year or so back and my drummer's not a click track fan from a groove perspective so it got shelved but this seems like the perfect solution.
Would be interested in any practical experiences...

Mine gains time!?!

Anyone have the issue where the remote contrast wanders over time? I think I have mine set to about 90 but often when I come back at the next gig it's down to 40 or 50. It's fine when I put it back so not sure if it's just not saving the setting or if it's creeping over time, similar to the clock?

How many folk singers does it take to change a lightbulb?
Five, one to change it and four to sing about how good the old one was.

i've got the remote and two mission and they fit perfectly in the Swan HD500 case.

My missus encourages me, it's a bloody nightmare!

Just get a stereo cable and bridge the connection?

After finding out yesterday that you can get a clock on our remote by clicking the unlabelled 2nd soft button under the remote section of System (Cheers Greenblob), are there any other little gems hiding in our box of tricks that anyone knows about?
-
Love all my guitars, which is why I still have them and fortunately the missus is sympathetic to my slightly indulgent collection which I think is around the 22 if memory serves me correct but my faves are definitely my two giggers (which were intended to be house guitars).
i can honestly say if I won the lottery I'd still play my two main PRS's which are a P24 and P22. Sound stunning, look even better and so versatile. Truly awesome instruments!

I am now yeah as after your post I'd updated it from 3.1.2. Still no tag in the System menu but followed your instructions and not a problem.
Makes me wonder whats hiding behind other apparently unused soft buttons?

Winner! Cheers chief!
That's made my evening! I so need to get out more!
