That's a really good BE pack man. A lot of the time the BE profiles seem sort of unbalanced or something with my rig but these sound great.

Looking forward to any new packs that are coming. My Kemper has essentially become just a player for "MB - Mars Reissue 20 1" from the liquid rig pack. With my speakers and guitars that is so perfect. Just the right saturation, cleans up the way I like. Probably my favorite profile of all time.

I use an app called Decibel X on my phone to more or less balance them out. I'm sure it's not exact but close enough for me.
-
I'm sure it's in here but Marshalls, Fenders, and Soldano/EVH should cover most amps because it seems most amps are all variations of those for the most part.

You might check out Live Ready Sound profiles. They seem pretty bright to me but I have not used them live so cant speak to that.

When I want to play in a real cab I use a power station ps-100. Its pretty flat and works ok.

If so, he should call it DynaMic to make Cliff lose his mind.

Support for the Kemper is amazing. I've had this thing for like 12 years and there is still new stuff.

Are you using Asio4All? I installed the beta tonight, but I dont see an option in StudioOne for the device.

I have never ever played any of Fractal Audio's gear, but judging on the number (and ranks) of professional musicians who do use it for their work, it is somewhat safe to say that FAS produce very excellent sounding pieces of gear, in particular regarding the effects chain (see, e.g., John Petrucci). So I believe that the sound and most likely also the feel when playing are beyond reasonable doubt, and it comes down to usability, preference of workflow, additional options etc.
A lot of people use it just for the FX without the amp models. I have the axe3 and the floorboard and I use it with my real amps for the routing and FX and "pedalboard". Some of the FX are really good and about everything is covered. It even has a Keely Halo effect, so they keep an eye on whats popular and try to provide it.
I dont particularly like the models in the axe 3 personally.

I'm just excited to have the gain knob be more realistic and hoping it will prevent having to load up additional profiles to lower/increase the gain. If it does that, then I will be happy with the update.

I was wondering for people that gig is ok to the kemper powered on during the other acts? My band is headlining this week end and I wanted to see if leaving it powered on during the two openers (1 hr sets a piece) if it would be ok?Thanks guys!
mine has been on for the greater part of 10 years. I think it will be ok

Amazing guys.
This is EXACTLY what we all yearn for in digital gear. The sound of a profile, and tweakability of a model.
I went from "almost moved on" from the kemper to pricing a stage.

Choptones has some awesome profiles.

r.u. sirius bogner
I use a lot of profiles, but thats my favorite to noodle around with.

I thought I was able to reproduce this. It totally sounded robotic.
I recorded a clip and it sounded pretty damn good for a transpose effect. I know I was hearing it through my headphones so I played around with it some more and it turns out that I was hearing my guitar at its normal pitch acoustically in addition to what I was hearing in my headphones. I was able to get rid of the robotic effect by cranking my headphones.
I know that is not the problem you are having, but I felt so dumb about it that I wanted to share.

The way I do it is right click them in the rig manager and copy them, and then paste them on my network storage.
Probably not the approved method but works for me

Well, because Kemper basically announced the official remote the day after I posted this, I chose to build a cab instead.
This is a dual ported cab. Super low in the bottom half, big bright, open and clear highs on the top. It's very big, and has yet to be named. The internal structure is built from a lot of math and a lot of craftsmanship. I'm very proud of this and it came out better than I had expected.
I'm looking for a name for it.
I'm also going to build a 2x12 from the bottom specifications, and a 2x12 from the top specifications. Hopefully others will like it too!
The front is a red and black grill cloth (not pictured)
How about the "CC Backbreaker"
