I know you wrote you don’t want to have a smart phone on the stage but that would be a very cheap solution, also good for practical/rehearsal.

For me it is not clear what kind of profiles we get?!
There are no direct amp profiles in the pack. For the amps they used these cabs:
However I like the sound and feelig from the profiles. For me these are very good sounding profiles, no regrets I bought it 
I recoreded a cover song with the Sovtek Mig 50, 63 Bassman and Fender Lues Delux profiles and they fit perfect in the mix
(don't wanna spam here - it's the last song on my channel Merry Xmas Everybody).
Bought the JHS profile pack myself for x-mas and recorded this song with these great sounding profiles. No EQ and they fit wonderful in the mix IMHO. Have a great christmas time!

I choose profiles that sounds good without or only with minor tweaking.
Of course I use EQ on recordings and also sometimes on stage, which depends on how „good“ the room sounds.

Have a look to other brands flagship models they all have more inputs (quad cortex 2 x tl/tls/mic) or line6 Helix (guitar in, aux in, mic in) and Axe-FX III (three stereo inputs: 1 with XLR/1/4" combo jacks, two with balanced 1/4" inputs).
So my wish again, a new kemper shoud have another input(s) which could be used for e.g. a second guitar, reamping, aux in, etc...
My old toaster has an alternative input - the new kemper stage NOT (and there is enough space / place on the back side).
How does an A/B switcher color the sound? It either sends it your original signal down path A or path B.

Yes, but it is another device and I tried some and all coloured the sound (not in a good way).
Two guitar inputs would be nice e.g. one for electric and one for acoustic.
With RigManager on IPad/IPhone you can connect the Kemper Stage with WiFi. This is IMO not possible with midi.
You can connect the iPad with cable (midi 5 pin on stage and adapter on iPad with lightning or usb-c).
Or you use midi over Bluetooth. For this you need on the stage a device like the yamaha MD BT01. HTH.

In an older post I found this path for RM files

So for my understanding this should be syncable.
Of course install on all systems the same RM version und create a backup first!

Yes so far I know, the remote don't has a colour display, but all other units (Kemper Head, Rack, Stage) have colour LCD screens.
Yes. In dark environment I think it is a lot easier to see if you switched to the right slot.
Since my eyes aren't getting any better, I'm wondering if it wouldn't help if you could assign colors to the slots in performance mode.
e.g.
Slot 1 = green LCD display color
Slot 2 = blue LCD display color
Slot 3 = yellow LCD display color
Slot 4 = red LCD display color
Solt 5 = grey LCD display color
You can change the color of the display globally (system settings on page 3), so it should be technically possible or what do you think about it?

all guitars are recorded thru the kemper profiler. For my gretch I used a bassman profile from the new MBritt Blackjack Pack.
