Got it..
Just had to move my perfs down so they're in range of PC.
Thanks for your help -
No, Rig Button Morph is a global preference.
paulster44 , if you send MIDI anyhow I suggest to keep both seperate and send MIDI program changes to load Rigs/Slots and MIDI control change # 80 to trigger Morphing. This MIDI control change #47-54 mechanism had been developped for foot controllers with very limited capabilities.
Can't find how to send PC for performance and slot calls,
How is this done.. tried CC47 100 calls performance 101 and CC 51 1 calls slot 2 , how would I do that with PC? -
Thanks for your replies,
Will try some stuff out. -
So I use a midi foot controller to control Kemper Head.
My situation is that when morph is on (switch not pedal) i want to be able to recall the same preset and have it turn off (i.e. reset the patch)
I already have a dedicated switch programmed to toggle between morph states. Also my preset (rig) recall has a cc80 value 0 programmed in so when I change rigs it clears the morph.I find that when I hit the same preset twice it triggers the morph. This causes a change in state of the morph that is inconsistent with the toggled state.
Was wondering if there is a way to disable this behaviour of recalling the same preset triggers morph. (in a nutshell)
Thanks

I have a bunch of Cab iR's that are names with detail.. i.e. cab name , microphone, angle...
When I drag and drop a bunch of them to rig manager in a new folder, Rig Manager renames all impulses to the same name and all detail is stripped.
Any insight on this?Thanks
OK, I see what's happening, RM strips all dashes and such and smushes everything together. Then truncuates to 19 characters.
Not good.
Is there anyway around this? -
Cool
I thought I tried that, will try again
Thanks

I've tried to morph the delay mix up .. when I "throw" it works but I'd like for it to trail when I bring the pedal back down and it doesn't.. just cut's delay (in an obvious manner)
I was wondering if anyone has any insight into how to do this.
BTW, a delay "throw" is a mix term where in a particular part of a song just for a brief moment .. maybe a word or a note, just that note is sent to a delay for dramatic purpose, then the song continues with less or no delay. Thanks

Thanks for the replies. Food for thought.

I'm not sure if this has already been covered, didn't do my due diligence as far as thread search.
Did anyone have any experience profiling a steup that includes multiple amps mixed together? I. E. Running the guitar into two or more amps, finding a blend, mixing them together and profiling that.
Is the kemper capable of doing that or would it just "confuse" the kemper having more than one amp.
Thanks.

As previously mentioned.. Single Coil PUP (even though he used humbuckers,, he could have coil tapped them or just used a different guitar in studio.) They played through rockmans in studio and the rockman has a very specific compressor sound to it.. i believe it's optical. Chorus and/or pitch shift.

grit from tape delay as standalone saturation.
Sounds great as high end fizz blended in.
-
Can anyone verify that when loading a preset named "bad tape" from one of the newer delays, if you set the ms to 0 it basically goes nuts.. lots of artifacts and such.
Ive been trying to use this as an effect in the x slot for the sound of the tape grit as it adds that VanHalen fizz to the tone without having to crank highs. As a plus, it's blendable. Just can't get past the artifacts.
Thanks,

Is there a way that one could install a lean Rig so as the only rigs installed are the ones used in performances?
-
Thanks guys..
ended up picking mine up from a friend here in town.Loving it.!

Thought about that Arie, but that would mean no delay in my cab, as the previous poster mentioned... I could, however, use a external delay (fx loop) on the "X" slot and tap post "Mod", but that would mean I just don't use my delay slot.. drag. I guess I'll just live with the Rev in the cab. Not lugging around extra FRFR just for FX thank you.
-
I can understand that if I were using a FRFR onstage but sending a studio quality reverb through a marshall 1960 cab is not the same as hearing it through the mains of a large system. It just doesn't belong in a Marshall cab.. a spring reverb maybe but as I said, I really like the Verb through the mains. (FRFR)
Thanks

First off I'd like to point out that I really like the reverb in the Kemper.
That said, My Kemper is used in live situations very often. When it is, I use a cab for my monitoring purposes and send the main outs to the FOH.
I would be nice if i can send the reverb only to the FOH and not through my cab. IOW, if there would be a tap (source select) right after the Delay module, that would be great. I just find that the Hall Rev muddies things up in a cab situation yet sounds great in the Mains (Front of House).
Is this possible any other way.
Thanks,
