Does the noise gate have an effect on the buzzing?
If you tried the usual steps like factory reset (backup first), recovering an old backup, etc. I'd recommend opening a support ticket here.

Thats odd. Same thing with different rigs?

Are you recording straight into a audio interface? It kinda sounds like the Kempers' output is set very low and the channel gain of the interface is very high. Check you main out volume in the output section and try to use less gain on the interface.
Edit: On 2nd thought: Have tried another guitar or do you have the same interference whit nothing plugged in?

Launch Rig Manager to find the update.
Ah its said This software is up-to-date before, but I did not check Also check for Beta Releases in the settings. Thanks Paults!
-
I may be just blind, but where can I find the public beta download? The DL section only shows the 1.6 release version for me.

I think it's worth enough to know it's acknowledged. Sounds like it's still quite a bit away, likely not even started, so I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. I'm cool with that.
Exactly. Imho it's great that they listen to us and try to make an editor happen. If its anywhere near the quality they brought to us with previous products, I'm more than happy to wait as long as it takes.

Just stopped by the booth. Didn't have a lot of time since I also exhibit but met their US rep who sold me my Kemper and shook Christoph's hand. They aren't debuting anything for NAMM other than to showcase the new beta and delays.
Did ask about the editor because it's killing me and was told it's high on the list, especially with the new delays. They have hired someone to do it so it's a matter of time. Didn't get time to ask about reverbs or the modular cabs that are back. Will report later when I have more time since NAMM just opened.
Thanks for the update!

Glad that you found your settings! Mine are almost the same

OK, I followed these instructions and it works perfectly. I made some changes based pn personal preference:
- I used pedal 6 and 5 on the Remote, as these were closest to my EP1 channel. In essence everything is the same, you just need to select the right SYSTEM PAGE
- I use the volt,e pedal to go from nothing to full volume. Just set RANGE to -5.0 on RIG Page 3So thanks a lot Steven.
Now I need to find the right settings to get something that sounds like a CryBaby. To be continued.Check out this thread for that: need help setting up your Wah in the Profiler? do you own a rare Wah? let me know.

I am spotting a TH8A For Simracing?
Get well!

It's possible to alternate a single expression pedal between wah and volume by enabling/disabling the wah effect on the kpa so you could assign the wah to one of the fx buttons on the remote. Or are you trying to do the "whole job" solely from the expression?
I just tried that out of curiosity. When the wah is disabled, the pedal does nothing. When I switch to another rig without a wah stomp, it works as a volume pedal. Am I missing something? Wah to Volume is active.

The changelog doesn't mention morphing either. I will be home late tonight and can't check it until then
-
Correct, thats works. Check out the factory rig "Plexus Brutalus" that might be quite what you are looking for (with a few tweaks).
-
Good luck for you future products! I use you profiles since the day I got my KPA. Thanks for all the great work.

Hook up a MIDI cable from your interface (MIDI out) to your KPA (MIDI in). The KPA detects any clock signal via MIDI automatically, so you just have to set up your DAW for clock output.
Which DAW are you using? In Cubase 8 you can set the MIDI clock output under Transport / Project Synchronization Setup / Midi Clock Out on the bottom right.
Just mark your audio interface as output. But I guess you can configure that in every other DAW as well. Now if you play your project, the KPA should be in sync. To test it you can set the tempo in the DAW, play it back and hold the TAP button on the KPA to check if the tempo matches.
Have fun
Tom

I like Gallien-Krueger 150B and 150C for bass, check them in RigManager on RigExchange.
Thanks I'll check them out.
-
There is a pretty good one in the factory rigs, I can't remember the name though. I can check later...
-
My condolences as well

You can already do this via MIDI. I am using a MIDI cable from my audio interface to the Kemper to synchronize the tempo. Its a great way to sync tempo-based effects like delay and tremolo.
But of course USB would be more convenient
