Most users don’t even use the ASIO driver. So why hold back OS14 for the majority when OS13 remains a perfectly adequate option for the smaller group that relies on ASIO?

IMO, if OS14 has known bugs, it should be released as beta, not as an official (fully functional) release.
G String is it possible to fix known issues before releasing a new firmware?
The ASIO driver problem in Windows DAWs is still present: many people, like me, still can't update to OS 14.

We're all beta testers now.
Kemper should have had their own official profile packs. Content creator packs like Dill are welcome however not the same thing.
I agree: Kemper should provide an official 2.0 start pack with professional profiles that should indicate the full potential rigs to the customer.
It's hard to understand why Kemper doesn't know how to profile as well as the other profilers!

try putting a flat eq with +1db volume and a Pure Boost with +1db after the stack, alternate them: for me they sound slightly different
This does nothing to the tone, it just raises the volume. Same effect as Rig Volume.
I don't agree: IMHO the sound is more airy and slightly fatter with the Pure Boost after stack
All the instruments in a song contribute to the sound perception of a single instrument.
Look for the isolated track of Steve Stevens' guitar in "Rebel Yell": you'll be very disappointed!
Line 6 has a sustainer that is great for "Sustaniac" type sustain for leads. I'd love the Kemper to have something like that.

So, looking at the market, quite a few things have shifted since Kemper’s profiling technology came out.
I’ve used the unit for a long time with great satisfaction (rack first, then stage when it came out, switched a little time to QC but now returning back home), but it’s starting to show its age.
Personally, I’d love a more accurate profiling algorithm that can capture even the most complex amplifiers (anyone who’s tried to profile distorted Mesa amps knows what I mean). I’d also like the ability to run two profiles in series, and if possible, a more precise capture of fuzz-like tones.
Do you think something is brewing, or are we in for a few more years of treading water with what we have now?
I would like:
to be able to modify the rigs like the modelers
to improve the sounds of mesa, soldano, etc.

It's been almost 1 year since the liquid profiles release... but many amplifiers are still missing, for example the Bogner family.
even the Namm news (the new tremolos) have not yet come out.
I think that the updates time are a bit too long: am I too picky?

you could start with an IR, use Fabfilter to do the EQ matching, then use Voxengo Deconvolver to create a sweep of the IR + Fabfilter,
turn this into an IR (again, with deconvolver) and import this IR into Rig Manager.
Since just disabling the CABINET activates CabDriver, you'll have to import the 'starting point' IR first, and then record your track to be matched with FabFilter.
Thanks for the detailed guide, but to avoid all these steps, it would be nice to have a tonematching function inside the Kemper!
