I'm definitely hearing changes when applying liquid stacks to older non-liquid profiles (for the better in my case), but the manual addendum seems to imply that it should sound the same as long as the EQ knobs stay at neutral positions. Am I misunderstanding that?

Yep, same here, volume control is having no effect on SPDIF as soon as I updated just now.

Got a Kemper Remote as part of a bundle but I'm a bedroom player and won't get much use out of it. Looks to be pretty much mint. Comes with original box/packaging, cable and manual. $400 shipped in the US

I've got a great condition Kemper Rack (unpowered) I need to sell. Gotta get some money together for an upcoming house downpayment and so letting this one go at a nice price. No issues with the Kemper at all. I've got good feedback on TheGearPage, Mylespaul and Reverb. $1500 shipped in the US.

I have an unpowered white toaster Kemper and would like to trade for an unpowered rackmount model, as I feel it would better suit my desk situation. If anyone is interested in trading, let me know!

Top Jimi offers some profiles of Paul's 74 Marshall from the Racer X days, pretty trippy that Paul could use the Kemper to play his own long-lost amp.

Cabinets from Merged Profiles are more accurate than cabinets from Studio Profiles, because they are made from an automated comparison of a Direct Amplifier Profile and a Studio Profile.
The "Direct Amplifier" profile method is the other reason the separation between amp and cabinet is more accurate. If you are going to use cabinets from merged profiles, make Direct Amplifier profiles of your Fargen.:
Connect a DI box between your amp and your speaker cabinet, and profile the signal from the DI. This will capture the dynamic interaction of the amplifier with a speaker cabinet, without adding the influence of the microphone and its placement or the tone of the speaker. .
Cool beans, so when taking a cab from a Merged Profile, the cabinet portion of the profile is the result of the Kemper basically "subtracting" the direct profile from the studio profile, leaving a better representation of the mic'd cab?
I've already done a few DI profiles of the amp, but only have studio profiles on my kemper to tryout cabs at the moment, and even with those I really dug it. Looking forward to trying it using merged cabs now.

I'm making direct profiles of my Fargen Mini-Plex and I'm wondering what cabinets will work best with it. It's my understanding that firmware 3.0 allowed for a better separation of the amp and cabinet portions of the profile, allowing for more accurate DI profiles. Does this also mean that the cabinets from merged 3.0 profiles are more accurate and that I should use them over cabs taken from studio profiles when "attaching" a cab to my DI profile? Or is it simply the amp portion of the profile that is "cleaner" (without bits of the cab in it) in these newer firmwares? Thanks.

Still available, as I've said before, may consider trading for a nice tube amp combo or head/cab pair.

I have a friend who might be interested. He has a ton of gear - is there anything you'd consider in trade?
I'm currently looking for a tube combo or head/cab to replace the Kemper, though I don't have any super specific models in mind.

I've got an unpowered, white "toaster" Kemper up for sale. Works as it should and is very clean. I've loved it so far, but I'm finally in a situation where I can crank a tube amp and want to try that out for once.
Price is $1600 + $30 shipping within the U.S. You can message me here or email me at loddie@gmail.com

Does anyone know a cheap solution for using one pair of studio monitors for multiple audio sources? I just got a Kemper and it sounds great through my monitors but I'd like to also be able to use the monitors for general computer use and music listening through my sound card (RCA outputs). The monitors have multiple inputs but I have read that it might not be safe to have them plugged in simultaneously.
