Yes I just did it and it worked.

These seem very interesting. Love the demos. Are there samples available on these? I couldn't find any on rig exchange or the webshop.

Cool - I like it! CDs look awesome.

Kriswylde - "I don't have exact numbers ."
Yes, I suspected as much.
As I said, I love them both. Threads like this are a waste of time and energy. So..moving on.
I can give you some anecdotal evidence - myself and 3 of my guitar contacts all sold our AxeFX2s and bought KPAs and were incredibly happy with the decision. After about a year, no one is looking back. That's 100% of the people I personally know that owned both. But bless Cliff's heart, the AFX is a great machine as well, no question about that.

Great profiles - thanks Thumas

Awesome. I've bought several Schecters from Jason myself. Good guy.

I also have both. The Axe FX 2 FW15 upgrade has allowed the creation of amps and cabs that rival Kempers profiles very nicely. There is more "realism" then I have heard in past versions of Axe Fx FW.
I find they both bring something different to the musical table. Since I have several guitars, I am very comfortable having several processors. I intend on keeping them both since I would find it extremely difficult trying to pick one to get rid of.
Cooper Carter does a great job of sharing great info and insight into what the Axe FX is capable of.He is a very talented guitarist who also is a good teacher.

I wish Kemper had someone similar. It really helps sell the unit.
This was my problem with the Axe FX II - with every new firmware upgrade everyone would rave about it and then another guy shows up on Youtube with a video with the AxeFX2 that sounds incredible. I was NEVER able to achieve those tones. I'm not blaming the AX - I blame myself. The thing is clearly capable of stellar tones and the effects were unbelievable, the tweaking options enormous, etc etc. I got sucked into tweaking hell and came out the other side not playing my guitar that much and not enjoying it anymore. When I got the KPA I loved the relative simplicity of it. For those who can access the secret sauce - the AX is great.

Sinmix gets my vote. The modern metal tones have been the hardest to achieve for me and his profiles just seem to work best. Classic rock, blues, crunch, clean - I find lots of those that are great both free and commercial.

I own all 3 (Kemper/ultra/II)
Haven't touched the fractal gear since except to do profiles for people but might revisit the II very soon to port a profile and also give the later FW a try
Always loved the axe for effects but found the IR/so many parameters killed it for meI dunno I just get instant gratification with the kemper! I play rather than tweak

Same for me
Used to own the ultra, then the Axe II.
When the KPA arrived, I played it as well as the Axe II in the same room for a few hours.
After that I decided the Axe had to go. -
Sinmix profiles rule! I couldn't tell which was real.
-
Has anyone tried this? It seems very cool to me.

This is really good. This could definitely appeal to a broad commercial audience.

Great song - great cover
