Looking at buying a Cerwin Vega P1000X anyone tried one with the Kemper, the second hand price is very good, just checking before pulling the trigger
-
Two
MarshallJMP68...... Peter W
Marshall 72........... MBritt -
Or the front and use acoustic channel. sounds great with a bit of eq
-
Yes i noticed that
-
I just like messing with things, tonight i tried putting the Katana in acoustic mode, put some music through it, used the Katanas parametric eq to get it sounding roughly the way i like it. Setup a Britt Marshall, monitor out(cabs on) - into the front of the Katana, used the Katana blues driver and had a really nice tone going. I was on .5 watt, tomorrow with fresh ears i'll bump the wattage up
I know a lot of you guys will be scratchin' your heads at this, but it is fun -
just purchased a Katana for home/backup.... put the Kemper monitor out through the effects in and wow it really punches. Think i just found myself a light weight alternative to the CLR.. Very happy and relatively cheap

I'm seriously backward when it comes to eq etc, how do i go about setting these filters up on a kemper
-
Thanks Guys, worked it out

Hi Everyone,
Just got my remote and trying to setup morphing, one problem, base sound has no delay -- switch to morph (top led) then hit a delay. now when i switch back to base sound the delay stays on. Why ?
Thank You -
I think it's pretty stubborn on the part of Kemper, if the customers want an editor, and it's possible, give them an editor. I know a couple of players who recently were tossing up between The Kemper/ Helix went for the Helix just because it's easier to tweak settings with a mouse and screen. Surely it's just stubbornness ?

As Frank Zappa eloquently put it in 1981, Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar. Sound like a bunch of whining schoolgirls

As you know, what's good for one may not be good for all. Everyone raves about MBritt's profiles, but I haven't found a single distortion profile of his that doesn't sound way too muddy or dark for me. Not to say they aren't good. They must be with all who compliment them. Just emphasizing my original point.
That said, I LOVE my Steve Stevens Signature amp profile (can't remember where I got it from though) . For clean stuff, I use an AC15TB, and the Morgan AC20 (which is popular with almost everyone) and is free on the rig exchange. Other than those, I have a couple JCM800 profiles that I found on the exchange that are nice after a couple tweaks. I LOVE the AFD Marshall from Top Jimi, it's the Tim Caswell mod. And their Paul Gilbert Marshall (Lee Jackson mod) is nice too.
I thought It was just me...... now i have to check the other profiles you mentioned. Any idea where the Steve Stevens come from, need to try that
-
On the Rig Exchange there's a guy named Hays, his AC15 profiles are my go to profiles, his other profiles are fantastic as well
-
You shouldn't have deleted that one... that was the best profile i've ever come across, easily the best out of the 9000 + on the rig exchange. If you can't put it up again, could you at least do a tribute to the best profile in the world
-
I tried flashing this morning, rigs do sound clearer, less muffled. But in saying that, it could have been a case of me fiddling with a global setting and not remembering what i fiddled with. I'm not technically minded, so this seemed an option

Mhhh... let's see...
- way more than 10,000 units sold all over the world in 5 continents
- basically every great studio in the world owns at least one
- basically every great studio producer in the world used it at least once
- seen on stages of any size all over the world
- award winning as best technological innovation of the year
- 4 units working at the same time on the 2016 Italian Sanremo Pop Song Festival stage (4-day live show, 50% share, national broadcasting): the place where it's decided who's going to sell how much in the pop Italian market
Yes but what have theRomansGermans ever done for us
