Before long term friendships are harmed , I reckon it's a better option right now to wait for QC to be released into the public domain . That is when there will be hundreds/thousands of opinions posted on the www. , regarding what the QC can or cannot do well , or not so well.

As you yourself have stated, others have great clips on the KPA. it is possible to get tone nervana from the device. It might not be the best piece of gear for YOU to reach great time with though.

Even if I never download another profile or firmware update again , I'd still be fully satisfied .

Every time I play my kpa loud , my neighbors throw a brick through my window , so they can hear me better .. lol

A Ferrari 308 GTS , (ala Magnum PI) , is another matter entirely . .... but , that will never happen for me either .
But , never mind me , carry on with the KPA 2 thead ....

@ 'Cederick' . This stuff is way over my head and since I don't record or profile with my KPA ( ... and in trying to learn something from this thread ) , as an ignorant layman , I have only a single suggestion to put forward :-

Can you perhaps hook up with another KPA user nearby you , that is happy with their results and use their KPA to try achieve what you are trying to do ?
Perhaps it is a setting somewhere in your KPA that is hindering you ?

Please Note: I'm not suggesting you don't know what you are doing , I'm just making simple suggestion ..

I've been a member / lurker here from South Africa , for 3 years ... Happy to be here !

I've learned lots in the past 3 years from the regular KPA gurus here. Thank you.

I've had many amps and pedals through the years... cheep ones and boutique ones.The KPA beats them all ! ...simple as that !!!.
The only pedals I've bought in the past 2 years is an M audio exp. pedal and very recently, the mighty Kemper floorboard.

My toaster rig has a built in 200w stereo D class power amp , built and fitted by our local South African amp guru JP le Roux.
My 2 x 12 vertical cab ( also built by JP le Roux), sports a well run-in Celestion V30 and a Celestion 65w Creamback ... sounds absolutely glorious !
