I have mine mounted in a 4 unit rack case (Palmer 401 above the Kemper) since 2 years now. No problems. The system is running smooth and cool. I think when you have the kemper inside a bigger rack together with other hot devices like tube rack heads etc. then heat can be a problem.

That's exactly what I plan to do. So thanks, this is the info I wanted.

Is there a way to run the Profiler Powerhead live stereo in your console as well as playing stereo over two guitar cabs (using an additional power amp of course)? Usual setup would be: master out stereo to FOH, monitor out into first cabinet, direct out into external power amp into second cab. Routing: master out full signal stereo, monitor out full signal right, direct out full signal left. In my settings I turned off the cab on the monitor out generally. But here's the problem: I then have the full signal containing the cab on my direct out, witch runs through an external power amp in to a guitar cab. Makes two guitar cabs, no go. But if I turn off the cabinet in the overall settings, then it's also not on the direct stereo signal, wich runs into the console. So I would have to route a full signal without the cab to the direct out. I don't think, this is possible. Please tell me, that I'm wrong :)

    It's all good, Bud. ;)
I was just meaning to say: it's the loss of the studio if they refrain from buying a profiler only due to the lack of a Mac librarian at the moment.
Other studios are way smarter, e.g. the studio of one Michael Wagener.

This is absolutely no question of being smart or else. If you run a studio and have a perfect system and workflow setup, you would be a fool to not at least consider the problems of using a complete different system just for one component. And I doubt a kemper amp being the central and most important element of a studio, as much as I love it.
No, the music-community is mostly Mac-based. So it is of great importance for a company like Kemper to support the lead platform. I know they have limited ressources, but they'll have to. I for one will not use two operating systems in my recording process. I have no understanding for that, sorry. But I'm sure, Mac-version will be out soon :D
