It is messy, but functionnal.
The code is in github mentioned in my initial post. I need to update is though.
I've created a file in order to make a front panel design in order to make a robust and well finished metal front panel, as currently it is wood based, it is already broken as my daughter walked on it.
I've not yes initiated a production prototype, but I'd like to do it soon.

Well, I did not really think about the cost actually, but here is a high level breakdown:
- Stomp switches 30$
- LED+Holders 30$
- Left display 10$
- Right display 30$
- Arduino leonardo 25$
- Cable, various chips, connectors: 15$
- Enclosure: wood, from the spare box: Free.
- Build time (pure HW): around 20Hours, but this takes into account the do-redo, restarting from scratch would be half this time.- Software writing and debug: 50Hours (but this is free for one that want to reproduce, as it is open source :))
So HW wise it is kinda cheap ( not sure it would be rugged enough for live use, but I was thinking of making a dedicated Steel panel for the front, that would add another 100$ to the cost )
I really enjoyed building this, and I really thank the support from Kemper making the bidirectional protocol available to me, this is really nice and helped a lot. This makes the KPA and Kemper company a really recommendable (and awsome ! ).

the fact that this is a wood board with white surface, you can use a pencil to write your configuration next to the buttons. It is cheaper than putting a display per button which I'd like to do in the future....

Hi,
I'm building a pedalboard for the kemper.
It is based on arduino.
For now it is able to make full use of performance mode, it displays the rig name on the right display. and the effect state on the configured buttons.
What I really miss is the feedback in tuner mode.Is there any documentation / midi exchanges captures of the kemper communicating with the Uno4Kemper in tuner mode so I can add this.
