I'm hoping its not 5 weeks! I need this thing. I have gigs upcoming.

I had a few issues with my KPA and contacted the folks at Kemper about it. After a few emails it was determined I'd have to send it in for some work. :-(. I miss it!
I do have to say that I'm very pleased with the attention and response I've received from Kemper regarding a service issue.
My question is, does anybody else have experience with getting work done on their KPA? Was it gone for a long time?
I'm hoping the turnaround time is not too long.... I'm experiencing KPA withdrawal. -
Wow, I love the way that looks. Great job. I don't have money to do that paint but would love to find those knobs.

Yes, and a second delay freely placeable e.g. before the amp.
I'd love a second delay option. Reverse would be fun too.

I can't wait for this to happen as I really don't like the fcb 1010.
It's big and cumbersome and gives me a lot of trouble. -
I've had this issue for quite a while and have learned to just live with it but it does still bug me.

Recording went pretty well. Went direct, engineer liked the KPA. Said it lacked a little "breath" but it sounded good.
It took forever for the other guitar player to get his amp dialed in and the engineer to work his magic. The KPA took all of about 5 minutes.Vocals, percussion and mixing come next. I'll try to post some stuff here when it's done.

Oh boy. I'm headed to the studio in two days and just got this:
I have no time for this unfortunately. Now I have to reprogram my performances, what a pita.[Blocked Image: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/Andersonguy/GetAttachmentaspx_zpsb0a31051.jpeg]

I had autoload selected, when I turn it off I am no longer able to switch between banks without stepping on the number, then the up/down button, then the number again.
The way it runs with the autoload is how I described it above but before if I was on selection #3 for example, I could scroll the up and down buttons and #3 would remain active throughout. Now it reverts to #1 (my clean sound) every time I hit the up or down buttons.
Wonder if I should reload my last system save...

Now when I switch from profiles it automatically defaults to footswitch pedal #1.
For instance, in Perfomance #1 I have pedal #1 as a clean profile, #2 as a low gain profile, #3 as low gain with more delay, #4 medium gain/lead #5 higher gain/lead.
In Performance #2 I have much the same except more gain overall
Performance #3 has more effect driven.Used to be if I was in Performance 1, pedal 3, I could move up to Performance 2 and still be on pedal 3. Now it is defaulting back to pedal one (clean) whenever I switch between banks (Performances)
Any help with this?
Thanks

THanks everyone again for the great suggestions.
I tried profiling a couple times and it sounded like @ss. Became frustrated and decided to just be happy with rigs downloaded from the rig exchange and the amp factory and save myself the headache. I see no reason to try to profile something in the studio when my experience trying it sucked so bad. Not enough time for the learning curve, certainly In the studio.I have got my profiles and settings down pretty well and when the songs are complete I'll post them here.

All great suggestions!
1. If you're paying use the KPA, (unless you have a little extra time on you're hands).
2. Record a track with guitar and A/B the sound through the Amp/Cab and KPA.
3. Get a profile of your rig using his equipment and mic-ing techniques!! ... and share it with us!!A couple of thoughts: If you record the guitar straight to the board you can use direct outs to the amp and KPA from the guitar track. This way you have a common reference. Of course when you use the S/PDIF outs from the KPA, into mono tracks, you'll achieve this. Also, it'll be ready for reamping if you choose to do so.. and running the track direct to the amp, is reamping as well,.
Lots of great suggestions here. I'll bring my CLR just in case but will plan on running direct. Should I not use the main outputs to the board?
I've never touched S/PDIF outputs and in fact don't know if I'd have to change any of the settings to run them.
I'm one of those old school guys who's always used tube amps and fairly recently took the jump into the KPA digital world so there is a lot of the deep features I don't understand nor use.I also am completely clueless about "reamping". If seen a few threads on it here but don't really know what it is.
This will be a live recording in the studio, no overdubbing or post.
Thanks for the replys guys.

A reload did it. Thank you!

I posted them under STRANDED ON A PLANET - search that and they should come right up.
No rigs under that name.

I'm having a hard time finding some of these. I found the Orangatun and Xits but not the fender or others. Cant wait to check them out.
