I cannot find in the manual, nor the wiki page, which USB port to plug into my computer, front or back?

Thanks Brian, the Kemper does not show up in devices, in Virtual Box, yet in Preferences it says the connection is okay.

Sorry for the rant, but the whole reason I switched to Mac was to get past this antiquated driver crap in Windows. I have installed Virtual Box on my MacBook Pro, installed Windows 7 32 bit Ultimate(ultimate frustration), downloaded 2.3.1 on the KPA, downlaoded Rig Manager, and it grabs everything from the rig exchange, but simply will NOT sync with the Kemper, which means it is completely useless. Please tell us MAC users some real info!!!!! If I buy a windows machine, and the MAC version is released soon, I am going to be extremely pissed. Please Kemper, pick 1 - Q1, Q2, Q3, or Q4. Thank you.

My Profiler will not sync with Virtual Box on MacBook Pro.I've tried the front USB and the back. The test connection says "ok" on either port, and I can get the rig exchange to load in the Rig Manager, but when I double click on a rig - nothing happens on the profiler, and I have 2.3.1. Any suggestions?

Yes, I was hoping the future foot controller, would both control a full size KPA, and be a "play" only Kemper. That would give folks who wish for combining amps the ability, while being the foot controller for both.

It is somewhat close, but really not ready for any live use, IMO. 13 pin will take you there with proper technique, on a consistent and reliable basis, you have to get over adding a pickup, guitarists add them for normal electric guitars, all the time. However, I can't wait for Midi Guitar to be fully realized. By the way, using it with Omnisphere (textures, etc.), or any strings, pads, etc., is not a good test. Piano is, and it is not quite there yet, but I hope Jam Origin keeps up their outstanding work!

Suggestion for clean and acoustic - turn off the cab.

When I returned my Kemper to Sweetwater, they told me they sent it back to Kemper, in Germany, for service, and to expect 4 - 6 weeks for a turnaround. Are you sure yours is in Dallas?

The UPS truck just picked it up 15 minutes ago to go back to the North American HQ of Kemper.
I have to admit that I was a bit sad to see it leave. When I sent mine back to Sweetwater, they told me they had to send it to Germany. No mention of a North American HQ. I was told it would take 4 - 5 weeks for its return.

My unit was experiencing the same thing, and got worse. It began to have "DSP failure" on the screen, while making uncontrollable sounds, so, at the direction of support, I shipped it back to Sweetwater for repair. I was told these sounds would have been remedied by the update, but not so for my unit. Since it is an intermittent problem, I really hope they find it and fix it.

For me there's a gap between the mainstream request for a pitch shifter with delay and the artistical skills to use it.
In simple words, why do you ask for an effect, that is so rarely used?
And why is nobody asking for a similar delay in other effects like wah, frequency shifter, distortion, phaser?Because very few know what to ask for, as they haven't heard it yet. Because you have the vision, and have started an evolution of guitar, not the first of course, but presently the best, by giving us a faithful replica of the past( in spades ), which draws in guitarists who would normally NEVER even consider anything but tubes, pedals, and 1/4 inch jacks. i have been a 13 pin addict, even 24 pin, so these extravagant effects appeal to someone like me, but would normally be somewhat alien to a traditional guitarist. With your expertise in synthesis, you could really change the old school guitarists, who you have brought into this family. They will give a try to anything you offer, I would bet. You have the guitar world's attention. Please don't hold back. Let's go somewhere! Roland has the chops, but a terrible attitude. You interact with us, and believe me, that is SO very refreshing.
Anyway thanks for everything you have developed thus far! -
CK, here is an example of delayed pitch, beautifully utilized by Allan Holdsworth, from the 2:00 mark or so...

Please update everyone on what support says. Thanks.

When I say the EONs and the Mackies sound good, bear in mind, I actually tweak profiles to sound great using the Mackies, and then when played on the EONs, they translate pretty well. If I were comparing different FRFR cabs, then my experience would be different, and perhaps I would select a different pair. You know, getting a sound you hear in your head, could be done on probably any FRFR cabinet, if you program the Kemper, while using the cabinet. My only negative, when using the EONs, is I notice a G resonance. I already had both pairs of powered speakers, before I bought the Kemper, so this is what I have tweaked my profiles on. If I were starting from scratch, Electro Voice and Yamaha would probably be on my radar, as well as a Motion Sound KP-500SN, which really looks interesting, if used just for guitar and/or guitar synth. I believe you can make anything work, if you spend the time, but a certain FRFR cabinet may make tweaking go faster.
