Any one try Justin Butler's Modified VP Jr EX-S Expression Pedal with a KPA? I've used his modified VP Jr's back with a regular pedal board and it was great! I always like an EB's feel and taper. I notice it has taper options with a 10k pot. He's a great guy who usually does great work.
(It can be found at http://www.thru-tone.com under pedals.)

I was curious, which ones are your "go to" five from the 65 ACE 30 Profiles.

This is good info! In case I don't want to do a Factory Reset on mine, what are the default settings for:
"Master Volume Knob" on upper right?
And,
After pressing the "Master" soft button on "upper, upper right," what are "output volumes" for: Main? Monitor? Direct? And Headphone?
Thanks! -
I already have some Equator E5 Desk Speakers and a CLR monitor, but sometimes I wish I had an economical small powered FRFR speaker I could easily take to a small rehearsal, etc. Did anyone come an inexpensive Great Sounding/High "WOW" factor ?
Thanks!

burger, Ahhhh... I see you did already comment on the 3P! Thanks!

Thanks. I notice that when I open on Rig Manager, the AMP specs are for a 3P Dream Weaver, not a Morgan. Is that normal?
-
I'm interested too! I tried to download from YouTube, but having difficulty. Can someone download to Rig Manager?

I really like the sound of my KPA at home using monitor out to CLR, but when I tried it at Church using Left Main Out, it sounded harsh and "digital," so I had to go back to a mic'd amp. I told the Sound Engineer it was an "instrument" assuming it would be set to line, and EQ'd flat but I'm not sure what they did, or if something I did? I typically run M Britt /13, Matchless, clean to edge of break-up profiles. Could it be the "Master Volume" or one of the "Output Volume" settings I see after pressing the "Master Button" on the upper right? Thanks in Advance!

Thanks for responding. I'm okay with wah default, just curious on volume.

When I used to use a FCB1010 Uno4Kemper, there was an option to choose between three types of tapers for the volume pedal and a different one for the Wah. Now that I have a Remote and use a Misson Engineering EP1-KP, can I set the Volume to a faster taper and keep the Wah linear? Thanks
-
For what it's worth, after trying Boss, Dunlop, and owning the Mission EP1-KP, I really like the Hotone Soul Press set to Expression Pedal as my favorite Volume Pedal. It is small and has a switch, but I find I prefer the taper/sweep over the EP1-KP. But, I do like the Wah and "one pedal feature" on the EP1-KP, but would like to have the volume increase faster.
I know expression pedals are supposed to be linear, is there a way to set the taper in the KPA to leave Wah as is, but have the volume increase faster when set to Volume? -
I'll check it out! Thanks!

Question related to wah and volume in order of effects: I have downloaded 5.0 and want Wah in "A" slot and volume after stomps/before amp. Is this possible with my EP1-KP? Thanks
-
Thanks for the AC20 Swells! I've already downloaded it! Going to work on it tomorrow.

Anyone have a "go to" Ambient Profile either on Rig Exchange or current 4.6 DLY/REV?

For my Preference to use an expression pedal as a volume pedal, after trying Boss FL500, Dunlop X and Mini X, Roland, Yamaha and Mission, I really like Hotone's Soul Press for tone, feel, sweep and size best!
-
Recently received a new Remote, but finding it hard to like an expression volume pedal as much as the adjustable taper/sweep of the FCB1010 Uno4Kemper or a Ernie Ball Jr in front of the KPA, and seems like I can only get the remote to work on Performance vs. Browse. Wondering if I should return the Remote and keep the FCB, or maybe go with a smaller pedal board with a couple boost and OD drives, the EB Jr, and a Midi Mouse to go up/down. Will I regret it and can the Remote grow on me?
Related to Volume Expressions, tried:
Mission KP-1 (too short of sweep and has the on/off switch.) but best so far
Dunlop X and Yamaha FV7 (Too long of sweep, too linear)
Boss FV-500 and Roland EP (Seemed to suck tone, linear)
AMT (Too short and small)
Hotone Soul Press (Not bad, but not sure about sweep and switch must be on) but can operate as normal volume or wah in addition to expression. Is there adjustments for sweep/taper I'm missing? Is the Remote "that good" that I will miss it when it's gone?
Thanks

Thanks to all for comments, leaning Mission or Dunlop. One last question, if priority is Volume post stomps, if Wah is assigned to stomp A when active, if stomp A is off, can volume still be assigned post stomps? If not, maybe two pedals are best?
-
Thanks for replies and recommendations. So can one DVP3 be programmed to be a Wah when stomp A is engaged and default to a volume when A is off, or two pedals?
